Good man, Its a mega PITA to work this stuff out but well done sticking with it & working it out.... glad you got it sorted & ended up happy with some great gear
yea glad to hear it, my 2500K had degraded believe it or not. I see a lot of SB chips get bad, it is very odd.
Latest is 1.61.7.
C-N,
try this...should fix memory XMP reading for some kits.
as my Team 2600:
1.61.5......wrong XMP
1.61.6......right XMP

Thanks Stasio, I did go & get the 1.61.7 zip from your CPU-Z thread here following Vailr mentioning it the other day.
The XMP on my Team 2666 Now reads as it should.

Hmm,
CAS for 2400 read 11,supose to be 9.
I don't know what it should read... maybe I could set it & see what my board boots it at.
Here are some Thaiphoon screens that also say 11.
Attachment 130541
Attachment 130542
Attachment 130543
Probably Team programmed as like this,so CPU-Z is correct.
Same as my 2600 (4x4GB) read as 2400.
Whay do you think can he on 5.5Ghz with this voltage ?

nvm!
Does anyone know if the Samsung green "overclock fix" will be ported to the Z77X-UD3H bios? Right now the board is using F17 bios and I see no improvements.

may i ask what the point of those modded bios' are? thanks
The "modded" bios provides more recent device firmwares than what Gigabyte may provide.
The very latest Intel Raid firmware found in the "modded" bios may allow trim support for raided SSD's, for example.
As to why Gigabyte themselves don't include the latest device firmwares?
Don't really know. Except that: they'll say that they need to first, do detailed compatibility testing.
Intel RAID ROM 11.6.0.1702 is already in latest BIOS.
Actually: F15k(beta) & later, for the Z77x-UD5H board.
Note: there's an F15t(beta) version bios that's actually older than F15k(beta).
As of 27 NOV 2012, the latest available version is: F15m(beta).
The latest non-beta bios is version F14, which (along with F15t) include an older version Intel RST firmware.
Side note: the first page at:
http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte...fied-bios.html
still lists the older version F15t as being the "latest" bios version.
New beta BIOS F15o: http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList...-ud5h_f15o.exe
"Improve LAN compatibility"
This is supposed to be older than F15t, isn't?
F15o is dated 20/12/2012 & runs fine

^F15p.....out
http://i2.aijaa.com/b/00523/11478737.jpg
F15p works good for me. It has passed my basic 24/7 stability tests @ 4.5 2666 & can bench 2800 just fine.
Looks like it makes a little more bandwidth than F15o
Slews both 2
http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m...AIDA64F15P.png
slews actually have an impact on performance too
Hey , Bioses for UD5H are valid for UP5TH ?
Because not developed most of Bioses for UP5-TH ? I am interested on that board and for other models update continuosly.
Regards !
^No,BIOS's for UD5H is only for UD5H.
For UP5 ,expected to release soon.
Think this is the first bios I have been able to use slews & maintain 24/7 stability so I'm happy. Will have to test for its performance impact later when I got time
Slew 2 on my rig anyway was 32m stable to about 2830 then I needed to grab 3 to go past
Slew 3
