I haven't tried them at lower volts and 1066mhz my MSI would only work them a 1066 at 2.3 volts.
CPU VDDA is for a PLL.

@3700 what is the stability of your system ?
ooops bump
Rasta,,
Im refering to when you raise the HTT and the PC is crashing..I suggest lowering the HT to 2000mhz or slightly lower to eliminate possiable cause since pc isnt stable..
Ive already done 2500 and 2700mhz HT = 55000/5400:D so the ASUS can handle that...
P.S. 3500mhz range is even oushing stability...id love to see benches @ B3 3700mhz but know its a farcry at stability Water or Aircooled.
i know it's a bit late since d release of deneb is just around d corner. can't wait any longer as i've been 'suffering' with single core for the past 2 months... :p:

Thats great voltage for a stable 3ghz OC. congrats on a good chip. Mine on the other hand seems to thrive at higher volts. For 3ghz I need 1.34v for stability.
Been running abit higher than that benching though. Not sure about over all stability but have finished some 3D marks at 3.5ghz. After vantage and 06 runs my temps are still good. anyone else braving high voltage? Im running water btw.
3.5ghz @ 1.63v temps about 50c max after both runs.
Going to see if I can break my personal best at 1M sp 22.172s @ 3.6ghz

Don't you think your CPU score at that clock should be a bit higher? I score the same at 3.2 GHz, just asking bro, seems a bit low, you have any idea why???

Just a quick head up to those of you who have posted in this thread and have either assisted or been on the frontier of pushing the phenom CPU's
Thanks to your efforts I now have my CPU prime95 *stable* for over 3hrs (sometimes 9hrs) at 3.2Ghz, which was my goal when acquiring my CPU.
This is very much appreciated, without your guys here at XS, this would have proved a lot more time consuming!
Now I wait for the Phenom II to appear to see what we can do next
:)
I dont have any idea tbh. I was just trying to run the highest clock I could thru 3dmark. Between trying to reach Techtrancers amazing 3.7ghz mark for some 1M sp runs and getting my 4870x2 to crossfireX with a 4870 I really havent been able to fine tune much.
my previous best with the x2 was in the 17800-ish range. so this was a marked improvment. not sure if its due to the new cat 8.11 or just a higher clock speed. Ill have to dig thru my screenies and tests to see if I can find something that stands out. Way to notice the fine details CP.
P.S. Ive been following your guys lead for along time...thanks.
Thats the other point I forgot...Im am also running Vista 64 bit. Probably taking a hit there.
Hi guys
I think this is just what you guys are talking about my NB and HT are running 2500 & 250 mhz but i'am scoring in the 4500s for my cpu score i will try changing my overclock around see what happen + check to see if it make my over all score better .
Try running GANGED,,with somewhat the same NB speed or 100mhz/200mhzNB less..
Youll get that 21.xxxs @3.6mhz:D
BIGNOTE: If the NB slowsdown or you CPU score is lower in any bench ,,Its most likely lowVolts on the NB..trust me.
Just watch your temps and ive found my NB uses at least 1.48volts for 2500mhz stable at any ram freqency. ..Just raise it slow and watch temps ,,youll see..
Also differnt ram multi will help with high NB..Some ram multis work better than others even if the Ram freqency is lower than what you had before. Even Mild latency like 5-5-5- with 15 or 18 is a phenon sweetspot indeed.
I always clock what the IMC likes most,,thus trying to have a Low latency above 800mhz it dosnt like too much.
