you need more vcore man, SB OCing is so simple.
lol and most chips are sucking. BTW back off the ram, do one at a time.
Yeah saw a fail chip on OCN...2600k needing PLL for x45....
i set vtt to 1.18 booted into windows @ 53x
jumped to 55x
what safe max vtt lol
tryin to boot @ 53x again:rofl:
EasyTune6 (Intel) B11.0323.1
http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList..._et6_intel.exe
i was using sata2 ports
windows is fried
its lookin that way
i couldnt even reload windows on sata3
i'm reloading windows on last sata2 ports
does your sb heatsink get hot?
mine @ 35c runnin stock reloading windows
i'll play for another hour n clean up the board
2 sata2 ports are gone
@ least i know cpu good for 53x
Why didn't you enable PLL Overvoltage?
If you can boot into x53 on one BIOS but x47 on another, that's probably the reason.
But B3 bios version F3h is probably the most stable one to use on the UD7. No boot loops when using PLL Overvoltage (required for multiplier >47). F3 final has some bugs.
Today is the last day I have to decide through retailer if i want to RMA my B2 for a B3. I'm really confused! Help?
Hmm, strange... My B2 killed HDD in 2 hours the very first day (1/9). First was getting slower and slower, then partitions disappeared, finally the disk disappeared from windows. All manufacturer tests failed. Spinrite failed. Had to RMA it.
Just installed on win7 64, quick run
Vcore bios 1.54 and LLC 10

This chip walled @ 5.65G on MIVE. Lol

Ok, I started the RMA to exchange the B2 for a B3 they are shipping the B3 first, will have it monday!
Excited!
lucky you
i was told by gigabyte usa that canadians will have to wait untill they have more stock
wtf exchange only for american customers for now
and they can't even give me a freakin eta
so i gotta keep this POS board for a month or 2 untill i can get an rma
so i gotta buy another board to play
i'm 10000000% sure it wont be a gigabut
if its too late with your retailer .....
gigabut dont care canadians must wait
they will just give you the runaround untill they get enough stock
customer service will tell you "well you should have sent it back , now stfu"
thats exactly what was said to me
i'll be waiting ti'll b4 version
Hey guys
My UD7 B3 came with F1 bios...
Max multi was 52×. But when i update on latest beta bios max multi was 51×. I tried all beta and still 51× was max
Where can i get F1?
One more thing...
I can't install Easy tune6.
I get this error...
http://www.shrani.si/t/18/5R/2CnMIJJ4/untitled.jpg
Strange you get only up to 52x. Why not try bios F3 or F4a? Find them here.Quote:

ET6 is latest!
Edit:
I download latest version and tried gigabyte CD.
Uninstall previous and install EasyTune6 (Intel) B11.0323.1.

I deleted everything from register and still can't install.
Edit:
Max. voltage on CPU for 24/7 on water?
F3 bios erratic !! having to eat my words when i said F3 was the best bios . . now i cant even believe gigabyte posted as official bios , but i would have to believe cause they follow this forum , after testing for a week now and only get by processor to run 1.464 idle and 1.440 load with any llc vs vcore combo at 4.8 with a raised vdimm and vtt voltage , I was thinking damn chip degradation from priming so much . . so i went back to f3h and starting my overclock aging on my board from scratch . . back to 1.452 idle and 1.416 load at 4.8 lower temp and even longer prime runs now . . happy my chip is running like new , and Ive run some of the longest prime runs . . be careful with your bios revisions and test test test , I have to give F3 a bad mark in not having a standard in voltages and fluxing to much across the board
DAMN zsams you have the worst luck with these boards lol . . My b2 was actually working like a champ on all my satas, and thats with getting slammed with streaming in my house to my tvs and torrent it to death lol , but guess that why intel is taking such a pricey kick in the ass with this . . hopefully soon you get another board dude :yepp:
i was right zsamz_ GIGA on your hands is like a Karma lol
well i knew since first day as all my things mate but i have good luck on hard
passed 4900 prime 1 hour on F3h loaded 1,392
passing 5000 on same bios 1,416 loaded
back to heaven...this lasts bios are super erratic
sorry for you been delayed on RMA but its better that than me that i have NO RMA
i went back to BIOS F3h as ma mate real 7 recommended me and passed easy prime at 4900 HT no internal PLL and cost me a bit to pass at 5000 HT but i did it
here the screens
all on BIOS F3h LLC1

@ andressergio
I think u forgot to set dram 2133MHz hehe
Is the UD7 worth the extra $143 over the UD4, I mean for a 2500K aircooled..
UD5 is.
UD7, no idea...only reason to get UD7 over UD5 is the 2 extra marvell SATA3 ports, NF200 for x16/x16 SLI, POST code display, and a couple of more USB. 24 vs 20 phases won't make a difference, both boards can reach WR clocks on a good cpu.
We only have UD3,UD4 and UD7 here.. Dunno why they are not stocking the UD5. So i guess its UD4.
here owie  didnt need anything extra to 4900 HT stable prime will go for 5000 HT 2133 now

Sergio
nice work Sergio :D
Nice clocks and chip sergio.
Cant wait to get a better 2600K from a friend of mine.
As usual I will run Prime custom blend min FFT 128k 3200MB and latest LinX will surely narrow the distance to TJ Max.
suddenly Costa Rica batch is flooding into Malaysia I wouldn't hesitate to try my luck again.
yes i dont buy random i had really bad luck on them i wish you the best on that !
here the 5005 HT on 2133 C7 same volts LLC1 no need to touch anything but vdimm and PLL from my 5ghz template

Something from my side. Nothing special but it's enough for me.
1.4V in idle.

My UD7 B3 is now dead, only lasted a few weeks. Doesnt power up, fans spin for half a second then it shuts down. Tried 2 CPUs, 2 PSUs, 2 kits of mem, 2 GPUs. Board is not getting power. Sucks, who knows how long an RMA will take :(
My motherboard yesterday was in a similar state. I took out the battery for a while and it works.
Tried that :/
Thats exactly how my UD7 acted when it died. Fans spin for less than 1 sec and board shuts off, long cmos clear did nothing, different psu, cpu, mem nothing worked.
Im not sure how long the RMA process takes, Im still waiting for my new board. I shipped it out last monday.
If can wait a lil bit swap for a Z68 guys, it's around the corner already.
I hope my UD5 won't die like that. It's been just as stable (with F3g) as my P5wdh board before it. But then again I'm not using any fancy stuff...
(only blue screens are with the X-fi, starting Xtrap games occasionally...)
F3 final is less stable...(XP crashes on shutdown sometimes)
Hi guys,
just stumbled upon this :
Z68-UD7 to be released pretty soon.
Now look at the box cover :
http://hw-lab.com/uploads/hardware/m...3_box_x500.jpg
Looks like UEFI coming to Gigabyte at last (Touch BIOS).
Any chance to get UEFI on our P67A-UD7 boards? if not I would be super-pissed really....
I dont like UEFI myself lol. I suppose I just have to get used to it.
What's the most stable bois right now. Board shipped with F2. I read that F3 still has some issues. Should I go with F3h?
Also, any word on how F4a is?
Thanks
I'm still awaiting my B3, but if it does die i'll just trash it and buy a Z68 motherboard. I hope Gigabyte continue to support the P67. I'll be extremely annoyed if they drop support only after a few months.
5100 HT 2133 C7 on my same 5000 HT 2133 C7 stable prime
LOAD 1,428 IDLE 1.464
