i am actually very impressed with it. chromatic aberation is nonexistant on this lens which is shocking really. i expected some, especially on the moon shots but there is none... zeroQuote:

here is tonights moon using my old Sigma 100-300mm F/4.5-6.3 DL
i actually dont know how old it is, i have had it for a couple of years.
pretty soft but can be usable at times. think i paid maybe $75 on eGay.
i have never really sat down and tested just how soft it is at F/8 and up but i cant imagine its very sharp past F/8
it shows its softness quite well on my T2i lol.
