ahh onepagebook/oscar.. thanks nfm
I didn't actually mean just GKX, I used D9Gxx as a generic prefix for all the stuff (GMH, GKX, GCT). It seems to choke on a lot of my GMH surprisingly (Dominator 6400C3 and 10000C5, Geil 9280 CAS4, OCZ Reaper 8500). The wierdest thing in the world with the Reapers is that if I put them in the green slots, only 1GB single-channel is seen by the system  I put them in the yellow and it sees 2GB dual like it should. Both sticks work fine too, as well as both slots (any other 2x1GB kit in the green slots shows up fine). At any rate, I just would like to get 600MHz CAS5 working on more than my Ballistix before I even attempt anything higher like 650MHz CAS5 or high CAS4 clocks...
Yea if you have the board in topic it's really picky about RAM. It didn't like my Cellshocks at all and gave less than mediocre results, around 530 - 550 cl5 and not even 4-5-5-10 1000 completely stable at 2.23v. xD Then I put them in my DS4 and the same ram did 4-4-4-8 1000 2.21v or 1200 5-5-5-10.
hi guys. searched google and these forums because i have a corrupt "cmos reloaded". i read it is not part of the cmos chip and dfi has a fix for it. wrote tech support and was informed to RMA the board because it is a problem with the cmos and they don't have a program for download to fix it. but when i put in a cmos from another board and did the long process of resetting i still get a corrupt "cmos reloaded" and it appears it's not the cmos chip. would any of you know how i could fix my "corrupt cmos reloaded"? i would appreciate it, thanks in advance.

Not much listed, just updated CPU codes unless there are other change just not mentioned. Anyone care to give it a try and share your findings?
EDIT.. just flashed it myself. Not a single thing looks or acts different about it that I can tell. As long as stability at same settings isn't compromised, I'll leave it flashed. I guess the days of finding new goodies in the bioses are long over. Just maintenance now.
I'm sure that there are some differences that aren't listed. I am also very interested to know what they are.
BIOS 9/19
It appears that I can run More Aggressive on the memory (previously I couldn't), not sure how that happened. Vcore still gets overvolted (5/02, 5/21 same thing) by 0.025v and there's an ugly typo, I'm back to 3/17.
would you guys recommend the dfi lp lt p35 or the dfi lp ut p35 over an asus p5q pro ?

Can you do me a favor and boot your G.SKILLs at DDR1200 2:3 400FSB and tell your memory delays BIOS sets for you? Also what vNB and vDIMM. Thanks :).
70ps
245-647-957-712
245-712-957-645

my nb is set @ 1.46 now as i'm only doing 505fsb

Have a little problem..the 2 bottom fan connectors near the southbridge stopped working. They have been fine for a few months. With that, the Diagnostic Led does not post any numbers and the board will not boot..I have cleared the CMOS..Any Ideas?
I have changed the Proc
I have changed the Ram
I have changed the Vid Card
New Power Supply
Lights on board work and all fans turn on except the bottom
This one is starting to bum me out...Help
Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
sorry if my problem is noobish but i really dont know what to do next
this board has been sitting around for about a week now so i borrowed a friend's e2140 to test this out since i cant wait for my new processor. at first it posted fine and i was able to get into the bios menu. first thing i did (and probably my biggest mistake?) was 'load optimized defaults' and about 10 seconds after that, it turned off then turned on again, with some weird debug led msg (it doesnt make any sense, its not a number or letter). after that i cleared the cmos (using ez switch) and turned it on again. same thing happened, it would turn off, and then turn on again without POSTing. it just stays like that with the fans turned out but without any display and the keyboard isnt working. i tried replacing the memory, removing the hdd & optical drive but the same thing happened, only sometimes it displays a different weird debug led msg. i'd really appreciate any help :(
edit: also, i didnt hear any beeps from the speaker...
What do the "weird debug led msg" say?
88? or a known error code?
try to
unplug the power cord and take the battery out for a few hours.
Clear the CMOS the old fashioned way. Also unplug the PSU wait a few minutes, that was happening a few time to me
