I sold my WR X1800XT to my friend..(crying) :(
Does anybody have Powercolor X1900XT ? I made a deal with another friend and I'll get the card maybe tomorrow or wednesday. I'll put the same cu-waterblock on it and test OC:ing first with ice water.Then I'll make hard-mods (same than hipro5) and In the future i'm gonna kick that with DI :cord:
I have a powercolor X1900XTX and its been awesome since day 1, no issues.
Is this normal? In 2D the card is 1.175V @ 499/598MHz..? ok? (i think its ok)
What program you use for OC? I use Ati Tool 0.25 beta 14.
one question about settings 3D-profiles iwth Ati Tool:
If I want 3D-settings 750/850 1.5V, I need first set the voltage to 1.5V (in voltage control & save it) and after that I set the clocks how I want. Then I save the whole profile for at use it later.. correct?
And now, when I want to run 3DMarks with these (My settings) it should set those clocks for 3D use?
Hi there,
yes those are the correct clocks and voltages for 2D mode (1.175_500/600).
You are also correct on how to make your own profile. First adjust voltage and save it to a profile, then adjust clocks as wanted and save to profile as well. In the menu of ATItool there is an option for which profile to load when entering 3D mode, choose the profile you just created and voila.

I'm still wondering why I get so bad points from 3DMarks..I think.
Example this one. --> 732/823MHz @ 1.475V with water. Only 12.2K ? Where is the problem, or is there? :(

Yes you might go higher with VDDCI ; i have 864 and 1.500

Hey dudes, i´ve got a question, i have a Sapphire X1900XT here cooled by a VF900, what voltages should be safe for this setup? Benching and 24/7.
With watercooling i got some results.. (still not good enough!!)
1.71V Vgpu @ 793MHz (hmm.. GPU wants very much voltages)
2.22V VDD @ 864MHz (this should go much more, let's try some day)
VDDCI @ 1.75V :D

How do you stop your GPU from Freezeing or black screening....
I have a X1900XTX His Icq3 512DDR
highest i could get is 702/837
for the life of me i cant stop my core from freezeing or black screening when i put it to high...
i can put the core at 740 and i will get no artifacts at all but it keeps freezeing up or freezeing then black screening.
and thats even with the vGPU @ 2.475v and 2.500v
whats the cause of this becuse the temps on the gpu are fine aswell on its cooler it never goes higher than 66c
there is also a bug with ati tool when useing it to overclock, the bloody computer will freeze and bring up a full screen with lines running verticaly down it when ever i try and play at avi or mpg file with powerdvd lol but if i run the card at default speeds i dont get that problem.
i only get the problem when in 3d clock settings. hehe, ati tool is bugging as hell
hi every one, i have big problem whit my x1900xt(sapphire toxic bios) 700/765.. this is nice but i set memory 770mhz(5mhz more:confused: ) my pc is freezing whit artefacts,i using atitool 0.25 beta 14 and my memory is BJ11

You need to save your 3D-voltage profiles. Otherwise the program will use the stock voltages. ( Is this your problem?)
If the problem is.. you can't hold your voltage-settings: (??)
1. (just for an example) Move the vGPU slider upper - where you want: 1.35V @ 1.45V--> apply that
2. Move the core slider upper 500 @ 700Mhz
3. Move the memory slider upper 600 @ 700, ---> set these settings--> make NEW profile --> (700/700) Save it, and LOAD.
Then go back into voltage settings, SAVE the voltage-profile to 700/700, and load it.
Hope it works and doesn't freeze when you test next time. :confused:
Anyone tried to flash XTX bios to card which has 1.2 ns memory?

I am plagued with this issue too if I go too high or it gets too hot. Only with ATitool however. CCC overdrive doesn't do this even at much higher temps.
Does anyone else agree that ATI should add a simple fan speed adjusting slider to the overdrive tab of CCC? Should make things much easier for the end user especially those that install 3rd party apps just for this purpose.
i clock my xt@xtx toxic to 700/765 whit voltages 1.425/2.113/2.113/1.486(this is 24/7 whit factory cooler) but the problem is why memory is not going to 800mhz like others bj11:(Quote:

I have little problems with my rams too, they only goes 860Mhz with stock voltage. I've tried between "stock @ 2.22V" Doesn't help. Next I'll try undervoltage.
Every time I've had some freezing-problems, it was because the vcore was too low. Does anybody have another ideas for this "freeezzzeee"
