Is it necessary to have that screw in there at all?
Well the entire board has 15, so probably not, but I'd rather spend the time to get it fitting nicely. I like paying attention to unnecessary detail. :(
Your other option is to set the rod around the VGA connector. ("set" as in bend. In this case you would put in a "double set" to go out, around and then back in)
Looking good, Jacka!
Bought the thread in three lengths of 1m (cut each into 5x0.2m). One of the ends of a piece of was quite badly bent, but I managed to get it pretty straight. Will have a check later to see if it has any kinks in the right place. :D
love it!

Hey Jacka, you ever get your systems up and running?

Oh ok cool. Remember the little by little rule. One thing here and there and it'll add up to complete. Keep on crunching on it!
Jacka,
What is it you need to get these machines running??
Good call Origin! Jacka, let's get these systems up!
Subscribed :)
Long time,no see.Yet i have just won an arima quad board ,HP oem green pcb.In the next weeks i will be testing its bios and its rumored capability booting in windows environment, yet i have to admit,i prefer ubuntu distro over any win out there. This arima board was a quest to remember fellas.
Windows capable? Ohh... nice.
I'm anxiously awaiting to hear that!
Side note, both of my Arimas are offline. If anyone is interested in them, PM me.
Mine has been offline for about a month and a half because of power and trying to keep my budget a little tighter.
HOWEVER I just got a raise :) So starting this week, the Arima beast is coming back online! http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...eys/woohoo.gif
Heat permitting of course, I may have to turn it off during the 90+ degree days just to keep temperatures reasonable :p:
*edit* of course, the coming week is bringing 80s and 90s again. Heh. OK so I might have to wait on turning it back on.
I have a got a Case for Arima F3000 Mainboards.
It's a Case from Codegen S201-R.
It's a Cube Case.
On the left side is the Mainboard and on the rigth side you can built in the Power-Supply and the Hard-Disk Case.
There is enough space for the whole Mainboard with Hetpipe Heatsink from Artic Cooling Freezer Pro or Skythe Katana 2 or 3
For building in the MB you must mod the Case a little bit... :)

Finally, I've finished what I was doing the past few months, and have all of August and September free! Expect to see some updates from my systems soon.
