Nice clocks!
You mean you think I should try to get the system warmer? It's actually a difficult thing to do with the autocascade. If I use something which loads my cpu up, my temps climb to ~-32C loaded and that's not exactly an ideal temp ;) On the other hand, if I boot @ 1.71V, my idle temps don't climb any higher than -43C core/ -73C evap. So basically I'm stuck at these temps :p:Quote:

Congrats bud! Now get those PIs rolling!
4ghz....thats it???????
j/k, good job, still playing with cpu samples i see (AABCE ;))
Well done ! 4ghz is insane
Amazing!
i've had similar experiences steve.. a 144 that could get a screen at 3.3ghz on water, but couldn't do much over 2.9ghz benchable
i know it's a long shot, but have you tried messing with ldt and chipset voltages? :p:
I understand what you're saying, but this is the way I look at it - How many 4ghz AMD cpu's have we seen? 10? Maybe 15? Now I bet that EVERY SINGLE one of those cpu's were able to run a 1m @ 3750 minimum (but more likely @ 3800). This cpu is an absolute beast when you look at it's vcore/mhz ratio and definately didn't even struggle to get to 4g. I know there's more in it, just gotta figure out what's throwing the runs off......Quote:

did you try kicking it? i find that sometimes helps....noob :slap:Quote:

Nice clocks though for non FX :toast:
There's a 50% chance you'll do it right the first time - if it fails - it must the the other direction - nooblet :poke:Quote:

FCG: I found kicking cpu's doesnt really help with clocks, had a CBBID 0509DPEW 3000+ Winny that wouldnt run anything about 2.5ghz stable for the life of it (Before and after I kicked it ;) )
Congrats this is a real milestone :)
...standing-by for SPi32M :D
It looks like my "Opteron SPi32M result" will be going down soon enough. It will be with 154 so it makes me feel much better  Is that the one from Ebay auction, Steven? Nice chip...
No, haven't tried that yet. However, I did try the 'ol "Pull-your-cpu-out-with-it-stuck-to-the-evap-head-and-watch-the-pins-freeze-over-trick". Needless to say, that didn't help one bit.......Quote:

Nice opteron :toast:
s7e9h3n are you making ice for some drinks? :p
AArgh, that trick is cheating, your screenshots are not valid! :DQuote:

I remember that cpull had to shut down his cascade to get to the sweet point that was -21C on his WR Venice 3000+
So you actually think that it can accept lower tmp than -45C :slobber: well if the chip is similar to FX57 it makes sense :)
Man you always get the ones that like cold, can’t forget your bloody -48C with your 3200+ :D
could you post a few pics of your autocascade ?
4ghz ! congrats

I waited for a 4GHZ opteron so long and now I finally can see it - many thanks :D
Congratulation for this great OC :toast:
Holy crap dude. AMAZING result. Keep goin ;).
lucky bastard :slobber: you and your uber cores, first the 3200, then the 4200, now this :toast: good stuff man!
