I am very similar, except 2GB OCZ Platinum PC3200, and at 2.5 GHz I have to set the RAM from 200, to 18X (too tired to remember the last digit) for 2.5GHz (timings 2.5, 3, 3, 7), and games hate that a lot, they lock up the entire system after about 8 minutes playing... I want the RAM I have listed in my sig SO badly!

You ever get that??

No, I am at 1:1 with the ram and its rock stable, you might try raising the ram voltage.

Well except you got an XT and I got an XL.

Just remember than you cant have the oc tool and ati ccc open at the same time. Obviously, Nunyabiz thats amazing !!! It makes sense that if the XL can get ~9.1k easily with stock cooler, that the XT can do 10k+ on air with its bigger cooler :)

The only question you have to ask yourself is if the extra 1000 points that makes it one of the first single card 5-digit 3d05 scores is worth $230 more of your money ;)

Yeah I havent even messed with voltages yet. Waiting to see if my results are typical, lucky, or worse than other.

Its at 2.9 right now... Should I risk taking $280 RAM any higher, that I plan to sell?

Well we know that dividers dont hurt A64's much, so if its even any concern, I wouldnt do it. The only performance hit you may see is in benchmarks. (as long as its stable where you have it, just leave it alone.

And I know I wont be dissapointed :cool: It will be a huge difference between x1800 xt and my current 9800 SE :comp10: I'm just like a little kid waiting for Xmas :)
