i've done a pencilling on R266 (the resistor which has one end ground and direct contact with pin 1 on the other side)
the original resistance is 688ohm, and now it's 675ohm, n then read the voltage via monitoring software (vGuru) and...found that my vmem is raised from 2,67 to 2,74v right now...:D :D :banana: :banana:
after some benchies, the mem can run @ 360 (720DDR) for hours :banana: , before mod it can only reach 300MHz (600DDR)
really quite extra frek for this Samsung 3,6ns with still naked :banana: (no ramsink yet :p: )
so it's the vmem regulator, right?
i wanna fully mod this card, can u show us how to raise the vgpu?
the gpu maxed out @ 580 @ around 1,35-1,37v :mad:
wonder if it vmodded :stick:
i'll be back with the front face pic of this card :)
Thx so much persivore :D :D :toast:
In a post from the 12th, you said the mem could already run at 360Mhz.Quote:

Cool. I'm very interested in your results as I have the same card.
with 2,8v for mem,it can reach 385 :banana:
see the attachment
meanwhile we've to wait for the front face pic, as my digicam not returned yet :(
DrJay, can u upload the front face pic? :)
I'll try tomorrow. I'll have to borrow my girlfriend camera though.Quote:

here i can get. All out of the box, stock cooling etc, but i only use cat 4.9 driver, so bad :(

@wedfighter : that's vgpu modded too ? stock cooling ?
@HydroX
gpu not modded yet...it's still @ 1.35v
i'm using crappy watercooling i made my self
n i'm not using ice cube yet :)
wonder if it vmodded...
are u andiko, roller, embuh or d4ve :D
SOOT
@wedfighter : i'm their friend, adrhyan :D
you give a pencil mark on that resistor, right ? how to do the vdimm mod without pencil , but using a variable resistor ?
well, and i want to do that vgpu mod now... :D
About making mod: Could you 'HydroX' specify all marking codes of those two smaller IC (less than 20 pins) at top foto ? One is sited middle of capacitors and the other right/below of green capacitors.
in the middle : APW7062A
but, now my card is in RMA progress, so i can't see what written on the chip below green caps
thanks :)
oh i see the John de Britto boy right? :DQuote:

yeah, you're right :D
for the mod, when in school, i've thinking, the APW7037 pin 1 or the resistor direct to pin 1, for the Vddr mod, then APW7062A (in front side) pin 5 for the Vgpu mod, right ?
err...pin 5, so it's number 5 from the top right, correct ?
thanks...
EDIT : i can't do the mod now. i've blown my card when i measuring voltage ( my hand slipped) and BUFFFF, a fire over the IC :stick:
i have a saphire x300 128 bit that i v-modded and i could not find any help on but i figured it out if anyone is interested i can make a thread otherwise its alot of work to write a guide and upload pics. some results tho stock volts 1.19
1.19-459mhz
1.7 596 benchable 590 stable
i can make pics and also i did cap mods to as the stock ones were really really scorching hott haha

Sorry wedfighter, I couldn't get the camera for a front pic of the card.Quote:

but..my card still in RMA progress this time, i've short circuit some resistors at the core, due to my careless when fitting a waterblock :mad:
the last time i've try the vgpu mod, i can hit 620 with 1,52v :D
@ Hydro X
yeah right definitely pin number 5 (located at the same row as the pin no.1 (pin with dot marking)) :toast:
i'm interested in Vmod on Saphier X300 128-bit.. i enjoy if you can make some guide..Quote:

Sorry doing little bump, but i got His Excalibur x300 128mb and 128bit with Hynix memory chips and ill give you pic from back soon.

Ok, lil bumpz0r!
Here's the pics. Ill hope someone will help me..
So how could i do mem and gpu vmod?
