If AMD works with developers closely, which they are now, it might prove to yield sustainable profits in the long run.
if you compare AMD's move here to what ARM is doing in the RISC segment, they've grown immensely as a company, and they CPU designs are breaking into new markers such as server.
Sometimes the best strategy is knowing how to position yourself in the market, only time will tell if AMD's strategy will pay off.
