Infra: man, u are lucky with your chips (remember yours AMD chips) :-).
Here's my first stable settings right off the bat first try, need to get memory tweaked in at 2133, was just trying for cpu stability on a 11.5 hour prime run. These setting get me 55c in BF3 which is a HUGE difference. Also after a day like this it seems all power saving features are enabled and 1600mhz idle @ .924v to 4.5ghz @ 1.2v works flawlessly.
Still working on it but so far I have 4.8 w/ avg load temps around 74-75C. Keeping PLL, VCCSA, VCCIO, etc low helps with temps.

No spread sheet???? Fail
Yeah a guideline for stress test would be nice as well. If one guy runs 32m and the next p95 it isnt really comparable..
Sorry guys...I wasn't really interested in starting a club or a database of IB overclocks meeting a prescribed criteria. The SB 2500K/2600K thread is 80 pages with ~2200 replies.
How do you guys feel about prime 27.6? I had 4.7 stable at 1.31 but read about prime 27.6 with AVX. Now I am back at 4.6
and I had to bump already 0.030 from prime 26.6 stable volts cause 27.6 still failing threads after a bit :( So now 4.6 1.27 ..
With it being AVX enabled it seems to be more stressful and creates more heat... although I think 26.6 is most likely stressful enough for dialing in an overclock. Personally I don't think I'd care to do very long test runs with it.

Prime requires that everyone uses the same configuration for a level playing field. Using the same version with a screenshot showing Task Manager with all available memory being used along with CPU-Z CPU and Memory tabs. And then a second screenshot when Prime is stopped.
Also, from what I have been reading, coretemp shows proper temp, and realtemp 3.7 you need to add 5-7C to each core?

Nice clocks everyone!
A big advantage with IB is its ability to clock memory, so it would be good to see people stress the IMC a little more. Max CPU frequency on air/water is fine, but I think testing CPU's for a strong IMC will be more important for extreme overclocking with IB. My retail 3770k should come tomorrow, the ES chip I was lucky enough to use maxed at 2840mhz air/water, and just under 3000mhz on SS. Hope the retail does as well.
5ghz but ned 1.4v x50 ore x49+blck

^ Nice Martin, 5ghz @1.4v is pretty good on water.
Check this earlier post... http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...=1#post5095662
yea i think assigning stability criteria is pretty harsh, it has always been prime95 or IBT and very extended runs which not many people on this forum are going to do to their CPU's. But i think IB can take it better than SB can.
I am going to upgrade to the i5-3570k and need some advice on a good board, ram and air cooler to pair with it. I like the Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H and the ASRock Z77 Extreme 4/6 boards since they seem to get lots of love from the threads you guys have here. I'm not a hardcore gamer but I would like to be able to overclock the chip as much as possible on air.
Whats the best air cooler out now that will fit the UD3H or Extreme4/6 boards? Is the SAMSUNG 8GB DDR3 1600 Model MV-3V4G3D/US a good bang/buck choice? Thanks for any advice guys
