2200W
love to see how much that rig raises room temp at load :D
Probably explains why no Australian availability for HCP1200, the HCP1000 has ETA of next year Jan 2011 in Australia!
Crazy :D
This PSU ist the best ever put my hands on
Great job ~~
You got that right. :D
Hondacity - no drop on mt ST1500 buddy. And definately no drop on my PCP :yepp:
no vdrop? absolutely false, every psu will have their 12v rail drop a little. im talking about 12v voltage regulation.
pcper reviewed the turbocool 1200 http://pcper.com/article.php?aid=458&type=expert&pid=6
thelab.gr reviewed the st1500 http://www.thelab.gr/power-supplies-...#content_start
only the mighty hcp1200 regulates 12v better than any of the power supplies out there..at full load...
just got mine today ... dead silent, long cables ... like it a lot
You were talking about dropping under 12.
None of my units dropped under 12 while I was working on them, and taking into consideration I worked with quad SLI of GTX 480, or GTX 580, i980X under LN2 and all that, I think we can assume the stress is pretty hard on these PSU's. Further more, the PCP I am talking about is a little custom modified PSU, if you had the courtesy to click the link and check it our. Don't compare with retail version pls, it would be like comparing TPQ 1200 with TPQ 1200OC.Quote:

That makes me very happy, but that does not mean that the old tech is rubbish, on the contrary, it prove to be very long lasting. Same goes for the ST1500 which is one strong PSU and only a few can come close to it when it comes to taking the load.
It is allways great to see new stuff pushed to the limit and it is allways great that the very high-tech stuff is getting more close to consumers. So yeah, kudos to Antec for this beautifull line of PSU's and to nickshih for this thread. This does not make everything else obsolete, though...
the pcp&c 1200 is strong....ripple control is very very tight...but if you max its load capacity..the voltage regulation sucks...i saw your pic..its got adjustable rails.
this is the hcp1200 thread...and both the pcp&c 1200 and the st1500...can't compete with the hcp1200's voltage regulation @ FULL LOAD.
Well, I am very happy with my units, but I didn't work with the HCP1200, so I cannot comment on that. And I know this is the HCP1200 thread, but you asked me what PSU I used for quad SLI, and I answered, then you started comparing. I personally talk only from my own experiences with the units, so I cannot compare with HCP1200. Even though I see it looks like a killer unit from what nickshih has done with it
I hope someday i can get one....
Congratz,,,,you are a lucky guy
