Well you may want to try reseting the bios completely with the little reset button on the back and redoing your bios settings to make sure something in the bios isn't causing the issue.
Also memtest86+ 2.11 proved to be reliable for quickly pointing out memory errors for me, test 5 was the one that would always error when I pushed my memory too far. http://www.memtest.org/

Does triple-channel have some real advantage over dual-channel? I thought about using that way but I guessed would be better to use the extra 1GB because Vista loves RAM.
I'll try to push my memories too, but I don't know how much vDimm would be safe to use on them (1.65v? 1.7v?) :shrug:

Boy, you were definetly right. I'm now using 3x1 and I'm back to 8-8-8-24 1T with only 1.48v. With 4x1 I needed 8-8-8-24 2T with 1.54v or it wouldn't even boot.Quote:

Thanks, but I just flashed straight from the USB using the BIOS option. I liked the new options and specially the part that displays the vcore set after you add that voltage.

EDIT: 10+ latency is not helping me at all. I reached about ~1680 but it needs 1.58v+. Haven't tried 1.60 or more vDimm, would it be a good call? :stick:

Guys what am I doing wrong?? My first time with a i7 overclock and I can't get linpack stable at all. Using newest occt. Running msi x58 platinum and i7 920 with 3 gigs gskill ddr 3 1333 =. I am only going for 3.8ghz and am running all settings auto with v core @1.32 bluescreen with 2 secs of linpack What am I missing?? Thanks
