The performance of the V8 stinger is on par with a bowed fuzion with a 5.5 nozzles i believe.
Like all jet blocks it really depends on the power of the pump your using really.
It keep my temps on my Q6600 @ 3.6Ghz 1.45V at about:
30 Idle and 43C max load.
Room temps at 20C
Loop consists of PA.120.3, 655 vario and the stinger V8 block.
Yup it is, thats a Bulkin vandal resistant switch i picked up from performance-pcs.
And Those a Petra Yate Loons.
The 3870X2 block has a very bad bow towards the end, on the last 2 screws, i actually dident even tighten the screws down fully because it was so bad.
But i did make sure the thermal pads where making contact with they needed to. :D
Did you think about adding 1-2 washers between the block and the card (don't forget to isolate from the pcb) on the point where it bow so badly. Maybe it's just a tolerance error at this spot ?
Same here...... Funny because I found that the front of the card had more of a problem with contact (RAM chips closest to the DVI ports barely make contact with the copper.

Yeah, that was the "test" fit to see how it fit and such. Did you notice any problems with the counter sink for the top cover? Mine has several poor cuts on it and have requested a new top from EK.
