I have that problem in linux. Windows works fine for me though.Quote:

For mounting, all you got is two clips with a hole by one of them. It's not much. I'm determined to fit my MCW30 on it though, i paid good money for the damn thing.
what bios did you use for the high fsb?
@PcCI2iminal
works verry good indeed, the 60 degrees is verry high for the 330 fsb, got the infinnity here too,can't pass 370 fsb
did you gain higher fsb already with this board?
@fabius88
no clips used, the cooler is "standing" on the chipset, it's not possible to put this in a case becouse of the weight/length
it wil pull the clips right out of the board
@graham h
bios used is 0602, and working fine no problems here
I downloaded the latest drivers from marvell & also disabled the Wifi device , in order to stop the lan from freezing .Quote:

At 4:3 you can run very tight timings (3-2-2) up to around 465 FSB. After that, you need to loosen a bit.
Hi,
what's a safe voltage for VMCH if i use the stock heatpipe-cooler (with capped cover) for NB and a 80mm fan blowing on it? Can i use the full 1,65V for 24/7 or is it too much?
Sierra,
In my case, 390FSB using the 4:3 divider at 4-4-8. 4-5-4 doesn't help any, 5-6-5 all the way up to 415FSB at least thats how far i've tested. Seems the 4:3 and 1:1 dividers are the only place i have problems with tightish timings. I tested 4:5 to make sure it wasn't my ram, 4-5-4 all the way up to 455mhz on the mem (not sure on the FSB). I've had about 4-5 guys help me and we've all came to the same conlcusion that is must be the board.
Could be the board. Results also depend in part on the RAM. I've been using Micron Fat Body modules which can run very tight timings. In order to get up to 470 FSB, I loosened timings to 4-4-4. Using 5-5-5 did not really help.
NB on phase anyone?
Already done with LN2. ;) Cooling the chipset will only get you so far. Vmch voltage is much more important IMO. Just about everyone who has done 500+ FSB was using a modded board. Some unmodded 965 boards have done 500+ with Allendale. But as both Anandtech and guess2098 have shown, 965 is slower than 975 chipset. Doesn't mean you can't be happy with 965.
That's insane. Good show!
Sierra,
Intresting.. i'll pick some generic DDR2 up from work here tonight and see what happens.
Sorry for going semi-OT rol-co.
Are there any detailed threads on the NB v-mod for the P5W-DH? Been searching but haven't seen any descriptions, just mentioning it.
edit---
Doh.

you said , same problem.......not realy
i can run tight timing if i want at 4:3, try'd different settings like 3-3-3/3-2-2/4-3-3/4-3-2
they all work fine, but maxed out on 370-380 so if you can do 480mhz 4-3-2-8 1:1 why not at 4:3?
same timings @ 4:3 max of 390-400 5:4 getting even worse, tryed the mem on the dfi infinity and gettin a nice 530+ c4-3-2-8 with less voltage
asus give me 482 max doesn't matter the voltage , bin to 2.9v :D , so its the board.
i got same memory as sierra, the 8000ul fatbody chips and 6400 c5 (also fattie chips on it)
so both shall be the same but i'll try the 6400 sometime too
maybe some team memory will help, safe this for the infinnity.

Nice work there. Hmmm, looks like the P5WDH might get the nod here. Wonder what ATI and nVidia are going with their chipsets...
ziet er goed uit :) ( nice :cool: )
similar to my Bad Axe (but water was 33 deg.)Quote:
