I'm really starting to believe that Crytek did this on purpose to build hype. There are videos of Crysis 2 gameplay all over the internet. If they were worried about it, they would be scrambling to get all of those videos taken down. From what I can tell, they're not doing anything to stop it. They simply put up the face of attacking pirates as a shield to make people think this was a freak accident. If this was an accident, they would be serving "cease and desist" orders left and right.

In my honest opinion after watching a few vids I think the sound effects and gameplay is a step forward in the Crysis series. Weapon fire sounds quite decent especially with the reverb indoors and the environment has quite a lot depth to it, as in lots of background noise, special effects and small details and such. It's good to see it will run good enough on today's computers and a bit more focus is put on gameplay this time around, thanks for this Crytek.

No dx11 doesn't work, r_driver does nothing and if you rename the dx11 rendere to dx9, you can get into the menu, but you get a lot "missing shaders" when you look into the console and the screen just will be black... :p
So everything you see is dx9 and i even think some of the setting in "highspec.cfg" don't work right. So the maximum you probably see is DX9 medium.
I really really hope they have tesslation support in DX11, crysis2 would benefit very much from this.

like that the game is true to the original, with middle button nano suit changing, hud feels cool, suit recharge seems faster, good intro and link in from previous game (poor Prophet)
dont like, feels very linear (but i suppose they all do nowadays) also feels very MW2 in its hit feel/looks/ havent seen any weapons yet that make me go woo hoo,
all in all a good game, will need to get it when it comes out as this is very buggy, and i am a multiplayer guy myself, and i like full eye candy, so DX11 is a must for me

Game looks amazing, got mine pre-ordered already. I hope a 6970 is enough for max settings, Crysis has been the only game that's been smooth with 30~ fps hope it's the same for Crysis 2. I really hope that DX11 will rid those ugly pointy rock debris textures...
Not sure why people assume that the number of people that pirates the games equates number of lost sales. Do people not understand that the majority of the pirates are those that weren't going to buy the game in the first place.
It is truly sad that they included DX9 support. Even BF3 will be DX10 and up only for crying out loud.

well i have been playing the multiplayer, and i got to say its impressive. along with full SLI support.
although very differant to Crysis warhead multiplayer disc, its seems a bit gears of war if yu ask me.

Didn't anyone else notice that they replaced actually having to find the proper ammo/grenades with generic ammo/grenade crates.:shakes: The levels also look even more linear than Crysis Warhead.

i agree.. this leak was internal...no joe schmoe gamer walked into an ea/crytek office grabbed the game and left then knew how to upload it to a torrent site.
On top of that this build isn't for sale so theres no lost wages..if anything this will hype the game up and profit more in the end. From playing it, i really enjoy it im going to give MP a shot and if its good as well count me in on buying a copy(whereas before i wouldn't id dl it and play it cause i didnt care for the first crysis mp's which is where i think the real value of the game comes out)
