Hi Wezly, sry, but i do not test it until now, because the computer don't work at the moment ;) But i will check it as soon as possible. perhaps in the evening i let it glow some hours and then i can tell you sth.

Wezly sry for the late answer, but i ahve to learn for my apprenticeship. I have the theoretical part of the exam next tuesday.
I ordered the slight from Charles, but after some month a german guy made it for Charles.

Today the first part of the water cooling arrived. The other parts will come in June, because this month the money has to go to another personal part and so the sleeving will be ordered and the rest of the water cooling next month. But i made one picture ;) The Orange of the Boxes fits very nicely with the Case :D so i have to build in the watercooling parts with the boxes :D ;)

today i worked on the water cooling parts i resived at friday. Some of you know, that i don't have so much time at the moment, thats why i don't have special photos or photos for every small step :( sry for that.

At first i placed the mainboard with the tray in the case

In the following picture you can see what i have to do after resieving new fans. I have to install one more spacer and then 2 90° angels. Now the Flow of the tube is to wide i think. I dont know wether my PSU fits into it, because it isn't by me at the moment, but i will check it tomorrow.

Here we are at the tubing in the upper part of the case. I didn't want to have the tubing as every TJ, thats why i cross the tubes to have an "X" from my nickname you can see in my avatar ;) but i don't know wether i let it as it is or if i should change it when i change the fans and the angels... do you have an idea?

Then i filled the system with the feser one orange Liquid... and yes ... you can see it in the pictures ... it is ... hm ... HORRIBLE!!! *schnief* It is not really an orange, it is more an orange and green mixture depending on the background. So i think i have to buy red wusittag and mix it a little bit. What do you think?? In Addition the orange illumination of the graphic card is not the orange sheme of the coolant, but yes ... the coolant ... don't know what to say^^

Greenish yellow coolant somehow doesn't fit well. I've seen projects here (sorry, no links at hand) with tone closer to amber color, that imho might look much better.

As i wrote above, i will mix it with some red to reach the best orange color. The color you see is the original feser one Orange.

fluid XP does a range that might be closer to orange.

their red is actually red

and their orange is actually orange.

feser fluid isnt too great in comparison

Once of the best builds I've seen in awhile. The EK 5850 Water Block really sets this build off . The paint is just sick. Good Job

I realize you have the plastic luminous panel, but I am not sure what you are using the mount the barbs on the mid plate

Yeah you can ask :D ;) ... there is an thread in it for G 1/4 ;) thats why it worked :D

So now we come to the crazy color sheme of TFC^^... it is the same fluid in all pics and all of these pictures are original pictures and it really looks this way when i see it with my eyes. Only the black acryl sidepanel is mounted on the last pictures.

Very nice build. i too have an orange TJ07. what did you use to light up your GUP block?

I like the tubes the way they are with your signature "X" in the middle. They are in no way messy, and add an 80's-sci-fi-industrial look that drew me to watercooling :)

But you built it, and I'm sure I'll like it either way. Just remember, no compromise.

The last days where horror days for me. The first is that the EK AGB was leaking but i flipped the plexi tube and now it works.

The next prob was the graphic card. I wanted to install the system yesterday evening but the card didn't work. Today i found out that i put the screws too close and i had to loose the srews a little bit at the backplate and now it works fine and temperatures are ok. 32° at 900/1200MHz

that's the hardway about watercooling...
got myself a full load of water on the graphic card once.... like a mini-lake :D
was lucky on this one 'coz after a little bit of hair-dryer everything worked fine again!

oh, nice rig by the way :up:
at last somebody with an original color scheme!!!!

I too had the exact problem with the res. Odd trickle, and I had to flip the tube. I'm glad you caught it in time, wicked mod!

Hi Eniigmaa, i put it in the G 1/4 Thread which was cut in the plate.



The project will go on slowly now, because i have to pay a lot of taxes for studying and living in another town and such things. So sleeving and finding the perfect orange will go on after my summer holiday ;)

The Headspreaders of the Dominators are at the anodize crew for getting them Orange without a thick layer about the spreaders.

To Do:
- sleeving
- powder coating
- illumination of the watercooling parts and the two little windows
- new fans
- and i know there will be more but i don't know it yet :D

Why not use orange colored tubing with clear water?
put something painted with your orange behind the reservoir to help the color of it??

yeah but you mean your uv orange at your mainboard. But The UV particles in the fluid let the fluid illuminate yellow, so it is the wrong one either i don't want to use uv illumination.

For now the mod is finished and the next mod will stand in the first steps, but it won't be a water cooled one, so i will post it in another thread ;)

I have a q: Do you have a pic of the backside of that bulgin powerswitch mounted? The original powerswitch is soldered onto a pcb, how did you mod it to get the bulgin switch to fit with the three leds still in place?

@Zeus: i removed the pcb. Because i don't need the leds. The buldin switch hast one LED ring and thats enough for me. But some TJ07 modders drill their pcb to have enough space for the switch.

Ah ok, thanks for the info. Do you have a link to some log that has a drilled pcb maybe? I don't think a hammond box will fit over the bulgin switch so it will be quite a task to make it look good at the backside.
