Very nice results! two thumbs up :up:
Noeru, I'm curious on how you got both of the RX240s to fit down the bottom, could we get some more pictures to show how you made them fit?
Did you have to cut a bit of the bottom hole where the grommet was for cable management out?
Cheers
Wow, this is an amazing work. I love this case anche the 480 on top is classy... wish I saw this before buying the RV01. Very very nice!
hello Sil2
thank you for getting me interested in the work,I cut the bottom for air flow to the bottom and work.
The piping for the 10mm rad is the offset.RX240 tried to connect a rotary angle, we stopped for a difficult
'G1 / 4 D-Plug Set-ONE Inch Version' also had enough Specified After all, Tygon are connected.
As work is still processing and front panel wiring.

I really like what you did with the case; it looks really good, better then mine that's for sure ;)
Thanks for the pictures noeru.
Out of curiousity how did you get the two 240s to stand up cause i've got one at the moment and i just can not get it sit on its side, it keeps on hitting the top of the bottom compartment.
Cheers
EDIT:
Got it in but required a little bit of force :)
Beautiful build man! Aregatto noerusan for sharing your work!
looks good but the colour of the tubes are not so good :/ is thin 1/2" tube ?
i think i know wich sys was your inspiration ;)
The colours look perfect to me!
B-E-A-UTIFUL! Nice job! :clap::clap::clap:
Beautifull !
But it looks a lot as Malik´s .. you must be inspired by him LOL
Anyway awesome case and everything looks good.
Flat for illumination and inspection work in the case of LED (12V) was established.
This can be verified, such as leaks.
And this is the ZALMAN fan-con is connected to, can come to adjust the brightness.

I wonder if it's possible to fit HWLabs Black Ice GT Xtreme 560 monstrous rad (153mm/605mm/54mm) in top of Obsidian 800D in similar way?
Hi churchy I think I have a GTX560 this "800D" in order to achieve cut the front panel must
this case is External dimension is 585m/m

Big thanks for info/measurements. But how about cutting back of case? So eg. non fan part of rad with tubing attachment holes is outside case (it won't change much looks as it's well .. back :) ) .. IIRC there should be some place for optional top PSU mount? And how about internal width of 5.25 bay enclosure? Can you measure that width of enclosure if it's wide enough to put 153mm wide rad in there or needs to be removed (I don't plan using any 5.25" devices anyway) + if possible, pics of top-back of this case from outside&inside?
P.S. There is another monstrous radiator out there (Watercool Mo-Ra 2 Pro, square form (424 x 385 x 54mm) 3x3 for nine 120mm fans which i considered at one point for installment on the side of case, even quieter and better cooling then gtx 560), or similar Phobya Xtreme NOVA 1080 rad, but most probably installing those will result in ugly looking side of case with fat bump outside dimensions). But in any case .. how wide(deep?) is compartment on the right side of case for cable management?
http://www.hwlabs.com/images/gtx/d_gtx560.jpghttp://www.coolputer.fi/tuotekuvat/1097.jpg
Hi churchy this rad I think this is difficult. Process also requires a five-inch side of the bay
the inner bay is 5 inches 146.8mm.
I was set 15mm further back than normal

Well, seems i'll have to give up on this particular rad and use some 3x140mm or 4x120mm as one you used, as i am aiming to maximise cooling but still staying with everything mounted within case. Thanks for providing info, it will help me greatily with choosing components.
Arigato gozaimasu :)
P.S.
Pitty though. Almost none of current full tower cases by major vendors seem able to accomodate gtx 560. Maybe sometime in future in some next iteration of their cases ..
Churchy, well I have the PSU on top, I had to drill several rivets to get the roof off... but I use a Lian-Li PSU Extender too :)
I'm buying a new cam tomorrow so until then no pics unfortunately :)
That's how I got 2 Quad rads in the bottom compartment :)
Nice clean looking setup

congrats!!
Hi noeru! congratulations with the end result! Looks great.
Have a question. Dod you have anny alighning problems with the back slots of grafic cards? mine do not realy line up without forcing the back of the case inwards.
hello zigzag:) Please tell me if you can help:)

Nice work but... you should fix the edges of the rear fan hole. It cant be there like that, taking into account the good work you have done with the rest.

Exceptional build from the land of the rising sun!

next project
I plan to add XSPC RX480 base. However, it has many problems.
・ Where the power
・Reservoir and pump
・ Single or dual loop
・Top 480x1 bottom 480x1 240x1 These air flow:confused:

I just don't think you can have it all, my friend.
Have you considered hanging it off the back? :X
hmm. Noeru: how about putting PSU on one of it sides and cutting out hole for it's air intake in case side wall (another option to locate it in front of case with power cord extention)? Then place side by side rad (it's hard to tell from these pics, maybe case middle section floor or case bottom needs to be cut for that .. (in both cases possibly strengthening of case structure needed?)). Probably few more hight can be recovered by taking out removable dust filters.
[edit]
hmm. or PSU in front of case, and rad laying on bottom of case? or PSU risen as much as possible till bottom of motherboard? but in such case it will suck warm air from bottom radiator. choices, choices :)
yes Sure! To solve this problem is a custom I grow up? It is required, removal of Shadoubei bays&5.25bays , PSU · SSD · HDD I think the aluminum panels and acrylic panels to create.Reworking of the side panel along ・ ・ ・ Umm:shrug:
Bottm is TJ-07 Look? Rad 480X3?? (Bottom480x2 Top480x1)
Any progress to your project noeru ?
Nice worklog!
I noticed the most recent photos that the red in the loop is gone... did is breakdown or did you remove it?
:toast:
We think:rolleyes:
5.25 Bay new even now remains is what should make installation OCZ. Due to its size
I think the best side panels of aluminum and acrylic rebuild.
Attachment 101853
Power supply will be placed where the white marked area is ?
And you gonna make new side panels for the 5.25" bay from acrylic ?
i wish you luck with this noeru ;)
btw, can i ask you the dimensions of the top rad cut out please? I have the same bitspower grill coming and want to get cutting on my case :).
Very interesting location for the PSU noeru, I look forward to seeing more. :)
Why stop there? :D
Do dual XSPC's 480s, one each side!
PFU Yes, I think the white portion of the inlet from the exhaust before the side panel.
hi zigzag http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=238950
What is this? Bitos relationship with the size of the cut?
Hi Noeru! The length and width of your 480 cut out?? I have the same rad aswell, xspc 480. Was hoping to get a head start on the cuts before my bitspower grill arrives :)
You could do that, and it may even be easier to use one of the new antec psu that are 120mm high, and place the fan their. It would greatly simplify cooling.
Although, I dont think they go up 1000w, but you may not actually need 1000w.
Another idea, is to use one or two rx360 instead. I think you have 572mm on the base to play with. The rx360 is 410mm, so that leaves 172mm to play with. It would still force you to get creative with psu mounting. You could either get a short psu and get very very creative, or fab a psu extender.
Or you could fab up a new psu case to work with that small ammount of space, just depends how comfortable you are with cracking open your psu.
Either way you have your work cut out for you. It's funny, no matter how big a case gets, you always can think of ways of where you just wish it was just a bit bigger.
Amazing build. btw
480x2 is now going to be a little further;)

Noeru, great work! you have greatly inspired me on my first water cooled system. I am also using the i7-980x. Obviously the lower the better, but in your opinion (or anyone who could ring in on this) what would you consider the highest core temps you would feel safe for a 24/7 overclock (assuming stable)?
Currently I'm @ 4.3 GHz. I haven't run any overnight tests yet, but after 10 minute small FFT torture tests, my hottest single core temp maxed at 77 at some point, but running average of all six is 72.
And when running Prime95 torture test, which is it best to run? Small FFTs (ram not tested much), In-place large FFTs (max heat, some ram tested), or Blend (lots of ram tested)?
Now get it crunching! :cord:
No but really amazing job! I think a 480 rad will be pushing it alittle eh?
P.S. get it crunching ;) that thing would be a beast at wcg :yepp:
HI
Amazing project dude.
Can u just tell me , is that a conector witch are in the midle of the 1 gt295 and the second, or is a junction of males and females conector?
