Unfortunately I haven't found anybody in Australia stocking these yet :(

I will ask if the disty's are pushing it thru for you
yes its just a change of heatspreader
I agree this ram is awesome but i'm not sure if it's better than Micron D9 in terms of overclocking limits.
I tried further with resonable voltage but i could not get DDR1250 5-5-5-15 or anything over DDR1030 4-4-4-12 stable at 1.94V, something D9 is easily capable of with volts. (>2.3V)
As the Asus boards tend to overvolt the ram i did not try higher volts though.
If this ram does not degrade like D9 over time this is very very good stuff for AMD setups, like you said plug and play.
What is the max voltage this ram will take Tony?
2V or higher and this memory gets seriously hot...not worth the effort.
I have 80+GB DDR2 and out of everything i have here this stuff rocks...regards it clocking over 1250...i have reports of 1333 on P45 systems so the issue for us with Phenom2 is Phenom2's memory controller or the boards themselves.
Remember around 100 will try to do 1333, 1000 may do 1200 but 10k+ will do 1066 and for that this memory is seriously good.
Have to ask it but were these just a run of the mill batch or were they cherry picked?
and can above 1066 be done with 8gb on a phenom II with these?
If there gonna be $50 and clock like youve shown even even in a 4x2 seup and an amd system they'll be most likely the best value on the market for the ddr2 overclockers.
Mine are unheatspreadered production samples, hence I can not show piccies. I showed 8GB 1066 with 1.65V back a few posts BUT remember the boards have to be tuned to do 8GB 1066+ also.
The DFI was always a board that would do it for me, where the MSI SB600 would never do it...1040 was the limit.
Regards $50...no idea, i know they are 50ish GBP here in the UK, but we always pay more here :(
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...3&postcount=60 8GB 1200MHZ
Hmm, looks like the new product clocks way better than my 8 GB Reapers :(
Still looking for them in the US.
Anyone finds them let me know :)
me too.i check each and everyday with no joy yet:(
i ordered the blades.
needed to upgrade to 4gb anyways. :)
funny how they are only available in germany, netherlands and italy for now.
Guys stock in stores now is from 1st shipment and is not rebinned...you stand a chance of getting awesome modules. I just looked on OCZ and they have now started binning the IC's for 1150 and 1200 at 1.8V, so it you want modules you know will do 1200 get the new 9600 Blades
I will buy the first 2 sets of 1066 I see and report back
I still think the 1066 will do ok but you may need 1.87 or 1.89 over 1.85 etc to do 1200, they will just bin the highest spec modules with the lowest voltages.
So its no great loss...you may just have to add a tiny amount of extra voltage.
Well I've got this fancy OCZ ram cooler and I'm not scared of voltage so I'll put 8GB to the tests on the UD3P :) Will be a short front page review on www.xcpus.com if I can find a set soon
The black pcb is supersexy :):

gah come on Tony make it so they don't speed bin those 1200 1.8v beasts are going to be like $200 probably. So much for the insane potential overclocking you showed us.
I would think since this heatspreader is heavy and supposed to cool well then 2.0v shouldn't produce much heat.
i received the blades today. black sticks!! very nice.
after alot of work i finaly got it to work a little at ddr2 1200. not stable here though.
probably with better cooling i could make it happen.
i had to change memory timings with memset.
bios and aod cant reach those settings.
thanx again to this stupid dq6 bios the highest stable htt is 210mhz.
Just mess around with skew, trfc and drive strength (if you bios have those) values, try to swap the sticks around or try them in the other slots.
DDR1200 5-5-5 was a piece of cake here.
Still not in stock
they are starting to filter thru...also remember there are new SKU's based off this part with 1066 1150 and 1200 all available
Am I correct in assuming "LV" will be in the product numbers?
Thanks, was just double checking
same thing different HS option so a little cheaper.
no difference
Just got results off a Gigabyte p45 extreme...1333 5-6-6-24 ;) that was tested at OCZ Taiwan...i have asked them to test 6-5-5- and 6-6-5 also as these may allow an easier OC.
They are killer modules for sure
I was excited about these sticks but I'll have to wait until Gigabyte release a new BIOS for 790X-UD4P. It's default vDIMM is 1.95V, and I have to use +0.1V option to get 1.90V. Ugh.
What's the difference between this DFI LP board and the DFI DK board? All I can find is the DK version with SB750.
Hi,
i also bought these sticks today. I have to say that these blades are looking and feeling really good (heavy).
Have an Biostar TPower I45. The modules i got are 1066 Blades, but in the SPD are 555 MHz with 5-5-5-18-34.
Are they factory overclocked ? LOL
where can I buy OCZ BLade Low Voltage series in Italy? pls tell me ... I have a friend who is in Italy and I would ask him to buy one kit for me :D
We originally were just going to release them as 1066 hence the first shipment to Germany may be killer as they are unbinned for higher speeds...you may get really lucky ;)
Now...OCZ have an eye on my overclocking tests and had a look at yield at upper speed grades and found some did 1150 1.8V, some did 1200 1.8V and some less than 1150 1.8V so these become 1066 bin.
This does not mean the 1066 won't do higher clocks will a little more juice...and I mean a tiny amount as big jumps can hurt these modules speed...going to 1.85 may be all thats needed for the 1066 bin to go to the 1200 bin.
So 1200 are the best as they passed at 1.8V...remember this is board specific BUT they are the best out of the stock we hold.
Canada?
NCIX & their many clones don't seem to have anything yet.
anyone find them in the US yet?
newegg has em 65$- 15% mir
ncix has em 78can$-10$ mir
tony what are the odds of doin 1200+ with these batches ''green pcb''
anything lower that that would be a waste of $$ for me
pcb is just color....no difference
is this the right ram?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820227419
Also remember that "LV" is in the product number ;)
those are OCZ2B10664GK
you need: OCZ2B1066LV4GK
What's le trick to getting my 8 GB reapers stable at DDR2 1100 5-5-5-15? :(
I'm on an ASUS P45 board at DDR2 1050, 5-5-5-15, vDDR @ 2.04v in BIOS, 100% memtest (HCI) stable. I'm also pushing 70 as the trfc value, PL8, AI twister @ moderate.
Whats the chance of Blade LV PC2 9600s hitting DDR1333 6-6-6-18 on a Gigabyte EP45-UD3P?
You'd be better of running DDR1200 5-5-5.
