Normally I wanted to test 3x4870 and finally break 100k in 03 with full AMD but for some reason the score with my driver was terrible and trying to install the new one ended up with a totally messed up gpu driver. I also had this kinda think during G|C - starts to get on my nerves with thoose ATI driver *****

So I started LN2 the first time and when I did 5390 1m I thought it might be good to go out for a smoke. afterwards system was frozen and did not wanted to boot anymore. CPU was stuck to the pot for around 2 hours ^^

I had to leave then but the benchbrothers already did 5.7gig while I was almost leaving - think they will beat me easy :p: There was one main difference to notice: I had to run HT 2.0 as A79A-S is missing an option to change this until now. in overdrive I can only use 6x at lowest - but even with that I could run -155°C at 1.85V without a problem. -160°C it freezed. jens and hoschi could run -195°C on destroyer with ht link 1.0 and 5x multiplier. problem with destroyer is the missing AOD and the aegis panel won't work good :( else this combo would have a lot more in it. for the moment I say A79A-S is the better foxconn board under cold for deneb. on air the destroyer seemed a bit better.
6 gig is definitly doable - I hadn't the time to go for 1.9V+ but I don't expect that much more from more voltage. maybe a better bios, different ram, lower htt (I was running 220 all the time for some performance) could improve stability but that's for next time ;) only one thing is for sure: AMD loves cold again!!! :D

the 5.7 wasn't done on destroyer, he switched to a gigabyte board due to the missing AOD. When going to extremecooling AOD is a must have I think to make things a lot easier. But it wasn't working very good on the gigabyte board. every second boot it crashed the windows. was much better on my A79A-S. I just got off the phone with them and heard something about 5.8+ 1m - still on the gigabyte board but I go with my A79A-S with them together soon again for launch day maybe ;)
SoF, I think AP doesn't work on retail board. I can use it, I can change voltage, htt etc but I haven't retail :D

that sounds very interesting :eek: gotta find out what is different there 'cuz then destroyer could be a real "destroyer" :D with AOD this board would kick ass fs but changing multiplier under windows has to work under ln2 ;)
Aegis Panel can give you "fun" with multi but other things works. Try nvidia system tool, I saw there function for multi but I don't remember it is work. Try CrystalCPUID, maybe it's work too, but voltage option sucks like on destroyer ;/
AOD is "one for all" - that's what I like about it. maybe it is sometimes slow but it works very good :D A79A-S can do all important things with AOD maybe that's what I like most with this board :p: (and of course because it behaves sooooo nice under cold ;) )

anyone want to try a P2 on a 780a mobo? no ACC support but they looked like they clocked better than even the 790GX mobo's out now
under air I know that P2 did well on Foxconn Destroyer. But under LN2 having Overdrive makes things a lot easier on 790 boards.
