Problems problems problems...
OK My specs with my 9650 were in a P5e.... Now i put my 9650 BACK into the DX38BT and i cannot get the damn thing to quit changing multipliers to SAVE MY LIFE! I have EIST OFF, Watchdog OFF, I cannot find anything in everest allowing me to turn off C1E. In-Fact everest says EIST is still enabled. Well... i am about to throw this MB in the trash.... I think i will go back the the asus, i was running for 3 days stable with stock HSF on QUIET @ 3.8 GHZ.
Thanks GTJ, but still @ 9x.
GTJ, you are truly the man, i aprreciate the help! But, it still shows 9x. It is not jumping around like a Yo-yo, but it is not going to the multiplier specified. Funny thing is, in Intel desktop control panel it shows the multi set @ 11. But EVERYTHING else (besides bios) shows 9x @ 3100. My memory is running at 1381 (corsair 1333).
Multiplier has a Definatle a BIOS bug, FYI Everest still shows EIST enabled. In bios it is set to disabled. Also, if i reboot C1E re-enables itself.
I think asus has a jump on them this time, not to say P5E3 does not have problems, but it did run my QX9650 @ (11x345) 3.8 with only 1.35v Easily.
1358 Bug #1 vista shut-down does not shut down.
QX9650 multipliers work now, YAY!
BUT!!!!
It leaves the pc running, and if i hard off, raid verify time ( i hate that $hit). I have tried restart and shutdown, same problem.
