Such a pretty Mobo.... I'd give my left testicle and three toes on my left foot to have one.
I just hope it comes out soon...Can't build my rig until then and everything's waiting on it.
too many mobos coming out with good oc's dunno which one to choose anymore
^ Exactly.
I'd like a head-to-head with all the new shiny toys some of the guys here have scattering around ^^.
The abit board is only 5 phase digital PWM, NOT 6.
DFI's board will be 6.
Abit is claiming 650~ Max FSB. Link.

How many companies are going to release a board when it is just right? Not that I mind. :)
the Asus non "ROG" version is available on zipzoomfly. It's price at $299, which is acceptable but still expensive. It seems it's just a reference board with the fancy heatsink added. But it does use a different bios manufacturer than evga.
I think ultimately what will make or break these 680i boards are the bios support because they theoretically should be the same. I have the evga board right now and I very worried about their bios support. Asus has a good tradition of releasing bioses really early and really fast. Damn I wish Asus had released their board earlier so I can buy theirs instead of the evga.

They claimed 470 FSB with AWD9-Max:mad:Quote:

Dear Paul,
Thanks for your inquiry regarding our excellent IN9 32X-MAX motherboard. The link on the bottom was a mistake and has been removed in order to avoid confusion with a promotion that is only going on in another country for abit. For the U.S., the IN9 32X-MAX will not be available for purchase till January 2007. Be sure to tame the beast then when it comes out!

Yup, thats WAY too late, especially when 3 other boards are out.
Please Picture Bios Coolaler !!!
isn't the layout slighty different? if you check the specs for the non rog board, it uses asus's own oc utilities etc and only bfg, evga, biostar and ecs i believe will use nvidias reference designQuote:

Which is quite sad, cause i was really looking forward to this board.
i hope their bios support is better than what they've done with the aw9d-max.
it's been almost 2 months since they've released an official bios.
other than that, this board does like very nice.
wish things would get back to the nf7-s days!
I do not own that motherboard but this guy do http://www.nordichardware.com/Review...&skrivelse=489 . Don't know but he has reached 500fsb with it later.Quote:

Maybe we will get lucky. HELL I REALLY WOULDNT CARE IF IT WAS PINK as long as it OC's as expected and doesnt have any of the reference boards bugs.
Maybe he means the ugly, light blue middle PCI-E x4 (electrically I assume) slot?Quote:

I hope it will be priced comparably to current 680i boards. (excluding the Striker Extreme and P5N32-E SLI or whatever).
abit without board reference bugs? i doubt that
last 2 boards from abit i had, both had issues and ubber slow bios updates
lets hope you did the right thing pre ordering before proper oc testing
I hope the quad core is included for that price

I can guarantee that if they release a properly tested, good working board, you will see EVGA and ASUS boards Shattered in a thousand pieces everywhere. Well, maybe not everywhere, but definitely here (my boards). I will be selling EVGA jigsaw puzzles cheap!
If the only problem your having is Sata Raid issues I will buy it from ya...Let me know how much..Quote:

A promissing looking motherboard. I have noticed on the i680, EVGA mobo, the LDT is locked at 8 up/8 down, is this width the same on this board with the nVidia C55 SPP / MCP55PXE Chipsets ?
the only thing about this board that bothers me is the placement of the 4pin molex for extra pci-e power... that's a bad spot for me.. whew.. I do like what I am hearing about this board tho.. seems like it might be the 680i to get.. the DFI's 680i pci slot placement is whacked so I can't use my pci-e 1x raid card with SLI... anyways.. yeah, I'm getting kinda psyched about this board.. :D
Abit overclocks IN9 32X-MAX to 557MHz FSB
MOTHER****** :slobber: :D
http://www.bit-tech.net/news/2007/01...to_557mhz_fsb/
nice.. :) another contender.. :)
The board will be 100% black and will be sold in Germany at 10th January
...but i liked the blue colour
What is going on with this board? Tomorrow is the 8th of January so can we expect some results?
I need a damn 680i board asap. I have 2 8800GTXs and the one is sitting in its box collecting dust becasue I have no motherboard to put it on. Currently running an Asus P5W64 WS Pro.
ABIT IN9 32-Max at retail and in stock in the UK. Unexpected release two weeks ahead of what North American suppliers are telling us. Its here its coming, can't wait to get my hands on it!
it was actually released later in the UK than originally expected.Quote:
