thx for the info. think i saw i some time ago. I stopped trying with this board as its in my main pc and wanted a stable pc :) When i have another go with the board i will defenitely look at that link kitfit

anybody knows if there are modded biosses for this board?

I've got a few questions.
Is it be possible to run this board with 9 X 500MHz with a low vid Q9650 ?
Can I use my Swiftech MCW30 NB block with this board ?
Do I have to replace the SB cooler if I want to watercool the NB ?
What about the mosfet cooling? Do I have to replace it or is it good enough ?
care to explain Number 3. its all connected through the one heatpipe. unless your physically removing the one heatsink which would prob void the warranty.
ive been thinking of ways to do it without destroying it. i was only interested in watercooling the NB and cpu right now.

i have some trouble running the 400/800 memory divider. Most of the time it will not even post on this divider. The mobo posts with the 333/667 divider but i want to see if i can get more stability with the 400/800 divider because im running 550 fsb atm.
Anybody has had the same problems?
Anybody has any tips to get the 400/800 divider working
That was supposedly fixed in the last bios.
You could still try it.. what could it hurt?
To me, this seems like a decent FSB board, 1m'ed at 610MHz just now - without crazy voltage settings or cooling. Low NB GTL seems to be the KEY to great results.
got any more detail on your setup?
voltages hardware things of that nature.
612x6:
vcore: 1.36v
vnb: 1.41v
vtt: 1.33v
NB GTLs: 0.5750 (both)
Clock skews: 200ps and 0ps.
333/667-divider
PCIE-freq: 110MHz
DLL/RCOMP-settings: 3-3-1
Don't think any vital settings are missing, left all the mem stuff on auto (except for DLL/RCOMP) + the CPU GTLs (for now).
And this was with one stick and one core enabled, it won't go that high with two cores.
...but I must say it's a PITA to work with this board, sometimes it goes into endless restarts at 26 POST code, with shutdown and everything... for no reason. And I have to manually push the power button quite often when I change stuff in the BIOS and it shuts down to enable the new settings:p:
I had to use it for a folding-setup, so I can't test more for a little bit... (until I get another board with 3 pcie x16-slots), need the heat from the GPUs so I don't freeze to death:D

how are these DFI boards stacking up now versus other top boards? (previously had one but hence on out I'm personally staying away). Just curious if they got better.
hit a decent fsb@485 with quad 45nm (either q9400 or q9650)! :)
DFI LT x48-t2rs is a good quad board, as well.
excellent board for trifire but fsb up to 450-455 with quad!

Here is my settins to 450 fsb. What change if I 'd like to use in 475 or 500 fsb?

I use to 10/07/2008 Bios.
You probably need to raise your VTT to at least 1.30 and play with the GTLs, it should be a lot easier than previous DFI boards since they're giving you the percentage rather than an arbitrary number that you needed a DMM to figure out what it was doing (LT/UT P35/X38/X48). I'm betting you need to lower NB GTL to <0.63%. 500FSB often requires CPU Clock0 Skew to be set to 50~100ps.
