Sorry Guys For Question Twice :)
Why I Can't Reach Higher Max Frquency Ram Speed?
In Sub Timming Ram Menu "Dim Clock Skew" What's That?
How To Can Higher ???Some Important For Me?

:( I have Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R 1.1 with bios F9 (and Windows 7 RC 64) (I use default settings) and sometimes my pc reboot without reason. When my pc start again, it give out a short and continuos beep (beep-beep-beep-beep...) and it turn off. My pc reboot again and give out these curse beeps :mad: (the loops repeat continuously except I break the current for 15 minutes..) Why? I'm becoming crazy..:shakes::shrug:
Power supply? Video card? Ram?
What are your system specs?
I would reset cmos, set all values to stock settings (hard values, not auto or norm), then run memtest. Also, check psu voltage values while priming and idle to see if it's holding well (use a multimeter).
cable has 7 wires
the chieftec sent me this link
http://www.chieftec.eu/index.php?opt...id=552&lang=EN
http://www.chieftec.de/images/_all.jpg
but how would the connection on the motherboard?

the program is to detect the front, but nothing happens
Corsai HX750W
Sapphire Radeon HD4870 512MB
2048MB Teamgroup Xtreem 1200MHz 1st series (with Micron D9GKX)
Look my sign :D
The reset of cmos battery is just done (1 week ago), for memtest I didn't try it because the my ram is just arrived from RMA after was ship.
I don't know how do
Gugle: Which audio driver do you have installed? Realtek or microsoft? You might need to reload the newest realtek drivers (get from gigabyte website)
User111: definitley run memtest to make sure your settings are working right. I've gotten bad ram right from rma before.
As for the psu, it should be fine. Does it run prime95 fine, but just reboots on it's own? I would run a prime blend to see if putting it under load affects the restarts. If it runs prime without issues, I think it might be a software issue somewhere.
Heh can some of you guys (ie. Andressergio, Jor3lBR, etc.) who have been benching your Q9650s between 4.6-4.9, post some templates for 3d benching on here for me to compare. I tried searching but most of you guys just post a screenshot of benchmark, cpuz, memset, etc.
On the subject of Ram, I noticed you have Gskills there...
Do you know if the new Ripjaw modules 4 gb kit being sold right now @ Newegg is supported...On the UD3P
Cause a friend of mine advised me to get 1200 ram / 9600...and these look like a good deal.... Yes, I definitely want 1200 maybe 1300 OC
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...-283-_-Product
Or should I just assume it because it supports the others?????
PS if linking to Newegg isn't allowed just delete it - but you know the one's i'm talking about...
Sorry to bother you...
Thanks
PPs: I assume the board comes with the usual 4 Dimm SLots for a total of 16, so would you forsee any trouble trying to run 4 X2 GB DiMMS of 1200 for a Total of 8 GB ?????? OR Am I asking for automatic board failure here???
Double Thanks
try a lighter PL (Static tRead Value), disable DDR Write Training also and play with the Driving Strength Profile option. OC 1333 or OC 1200.
skews are small variances between signals... mostly of the time the delays help to achieve higher clocks.
good luck and watch that voltage :P
Here are some of mine.
The memory timings are just set for maximum stability but will go much lower.Code:Robust Graphics Booster - FAST

I haven't seen the ripjaws on this board yet. I and a few of the others here have the gskill pi 9600's and have had great luck with them. $150 a set isn't great price wise, but they clock very well and take volatge without dying like the elpida chipped low voltage ones (gskill tridents & ocz blades).
You're definitely allowed to newegg link, so np there.
In fact... these are what I and a few others are running. Totally worth the $$$ IMO.:yepp:
And don't be sorry about bothering. LOL, that's why I check these forums. To try to help. well and to brag sometimes too.
Ocnub ran 8gb on the ud3p IIRC. Not sure how well it was able to oc though, as compared to 2x2gb.
HTH:up:
thanks alot thebluemeanie! Those are some of the slackest RAM timings ive ever seen. Your NB, r u using any specific cooling to keeps temps down at 1.6V MCH?
I have an Antec spotcool wedged under it. You can kind of see it in this picture. http://s306.photobucket.com/albums/n...t=DSC_0157.jpg The air flow isn't great but helps a little.
Pull the blue cover plate off the nb hs.
so you're saying the Tridents which are on the same Newegg.ca and .com kept dying??:(:(:(:(:(
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...-271-_-Product
Jeez... Thanks for the warning...:up::up::up::up:
The ripjaws look like low voltage too..:confused::confused::confused:
the fact that they're half price probably means half the quality....
I'll have to get me those PI ones you recommended....
Yes mate i can bench 3DM06 till 4707+ then temps are an issue...i will send you a template im using PL8 with mem at 1255, but for 4815 i went up on PL like 13...but still CL5 its a matter of MCH high (i have to use 1,7+, and vdimm till 2,4) i also have an antec spot cooler with the plate over it i like it that way lol, but mem and mch are cool, of course i know it may be better to take it off.
Cheers
Sergio
uh-oh....
hope I didn't start something :confused::confused::confused:
PPS:
are we talking like 2.10, or 2.20 or even 2.30 PLUS here???Quote:

Cause I have Viper 800 and give it 2.30 (2.27 in CPUID) - but on the sticks it says 2.20 and no problem so far...
Or are we talking much lower here before it dies????:shakes::shakes::shakes:
or should I say SERIOUS OC'ing like 2.35-2.40, 2.45????
Cause if I went with the ripjaws or the PI ones I was kinda hoping for 1300MHZ OC since the Team Extreem ones are nowhere to be found these days... (you know: at least as a minimum):rolleyes::rolleyes:
You know what... I was too quick to type.
I was basing my information of the elpida hyper graveyard thread. Although, reading further into it, that only affected the ddr3 variants. I initially browsed the thread a bit too quickly.
I actually got rid of my lv blades partially because I saw that thread and the fact that they were really hard to get stable at stock speeds with stock voltages. On the ocz forums there are tons of people having difficulty getting them stable at stock specs. I was one of them.
I have to apologize for my misjudgement though. I retract my previous statement about them dying.:slapass: my bad.
That might be good news for me.... maybe then the Ripjaws CAN hold their water at higher voltages....
They have to at least work at stock, otherwise that's pretty sad and they are going back...
Thanks for the update...:clap::clap::clap:
edit: thanks, didn't read the whole post...oops
That's more what I was hoping for...Quote:
Andressergio is putting 2.4v through his pi sticks in this instance.
More good news for me...
I never like to go above 2.30 if I can...
Thanks again
edit2: will probably go with PI 9600 like you said, but if the cheaper Ripjaws can handle it, so much the better..
100.00$$$ Canadian for 4 GB of Ram that runs at 1200 ain't half bad...
I wish when I built my FIRST pc (775) I had had the sense to pick up a kit of those Team 1300 ones...Damn that's fast....
Just read more reviews...sounds good, although nothing on the Ripjaws yet - will probably have to just try them....
That PI stuff seems to be a hit with most people..although 180.00 Canadian is a bit on the steep side...but if I was to buy one Ram kit that was to last me for good, then this probably would be it.... I personally would not put 2.4 volts through ram this expensive (but that's just me) however 2.20, 2.30 - 2.35 possibly would sit well with me...
I wanna thank you nkresho, this has been a real eye-opener....:up::up::up::up:
Cheers
ripjaws or any lv kit not gonna like xtra juice;)
if you want 1300mhz get the pi
if you good with 1240 get the ripjaws
1240 is fine.... way more than I got now....
I gotta save anyway...
first I have to get the Q9550, then the ripjaws...(I'll reserve the PI for later):cool::cool:
Heck, now that I think about it, I'll be happy with even stock....:clap:
I don't wanna push it.....:shakes::shakes:
But if it turns out like some of that 1150 stuff I've heard about then they be goin back......and quick....
Does anyone know if their are any OCing differences with the different RAM slots?
