I'm itching to see the DFI P45 setups. This current board and it's options are probably the best I've had in over 20 years of home computing.
Anyone knows if there is a problem with the CMOS Reloaded function in BIOS?
I'm asking this because after reloading known stable settings my system was unstable, but if i set them back manually (after reseting BIOS) the stability is back..
PS: Btw i'm using BIOS 03/17
Good question. For me it's worked fine with 3/17 using 4 diff profiles and switching around a lot, also tweaking the profiles a lot. No problems here.
Now I want to double check that lol.
I will be o good ideea if someone could do a bios comparison for E8X00 series in terms of performance/stability..

There is nothing wrong with it, per-say. But unless you set ALL you clock setting fine delay values manually, they could well be wrong.
This is something that peeps don't seem to realise. Loading from "Cmos reloaded" with Auto fine delay values, will set different values than starting from scratch in the bios. This can then make "a stable clock", look unstable.
I've observed something from my OC setup. If I turn off my system for over an hour or more (PC unplugged), then turn it on, I experience system instability for a couple of boot ups. Its like its asking for a "warm-up". Any idea how to get rid of that?
Current OC settings pass OCCT 2.0.0b with out issues.

@Matt: noticed that too on the Wolves...didn't have this issue with my E6850. i've read somewhere that sometimes these wolves need to be "warmed-up".:shrug:

I actually meant that sometimes the board needs to be cold booted, before it can apply CMOS Reloaded settings adequetely OR so it seems to me sometimes. I believe you have the straight of the problem, but sometimes the board is acting silly. Maybe that is written better. RGone...
I just got my DFI LT P35, sweet board, I want to Watercool the NB, Will removing the NB heatsink void the warranty of the whole board ? It has a seal attached that seems easily removable.

I bought my first DFI mobo, a UT P35 on neweeg on april, and i having some issues.
The system is stable for desktop and web but in a game the system reboot randomly after 5 o 10 minutes. Is not temp problems, i have flashed de bios to de last one but is more of the same.
I try rising the nb voltage an vtt voltaje to 1.4 and 1.43 and i can run stable for now.
Is normal that i have to raise voltajes to run on stock?
Latter i will ask help for overclocking

What are your memory settings, memory voltage and which divider are you using (333/667 or 333/800 or so)?
If you're experiencing instability at stock speed, then it's quite possible that you have a defective component.
Your memory is rated at 1.8v. Check that this is what's set in BIOS (this can be viewed in the PC Health section). Also make sure the timings are set as per specification (5-5-5-18-2T). CPU-Z, Everest or Memset can provide this information within Windows.
Check your memory stability with Memtest86+. Instructions on how to create a bootable CD are detailed on the site. If you get errors, then check each module separately.
Assuming your memory is stable, you can check overall system stability with Prime95, OCCT or Orthos.
You should not be required to increase voltages to get the system stable at stock speeds.

Hey guys, I haven't read much of this thread, so if there is info in here I should read, just let me know. Anyways, here's my problem. I just built a new rig with the DFI LT P35-T2R, Intel Q6600 GO (Tuniq tower, 40C Idle, ~50C Load, 334x8, 1.264V, 1.30V NB), 8GB G.Skill DDR2 1000 (1003), and 9800GTX. I'm getting random reboots at random times. Sometimes it works for awhile, but once it got into a repeating loop, 3 seconds on, 3 seconds off for about a minute. But normally, everything runs fine. So this is either a freak hardware thing which I'm praying it's not, or it's probably some wrong BIOS setting, so if someone can offer advice or tell me all the BIOS settings because I am a noob in OC'ing and could've forgotten something basic. Random reboots could be 100 & 1 things but as you are not far off stock CPU speed I doubt it would be the CPU causing your reboots. I would however just to eliminate it try a bit more vcore 1.3~1.35v & if that didn't help try a bit more vnb, 1.41~1.45 ish volts should do it you are running a lot of ram at a decent speed. Your ram will probably run a bit tighter at 1000mhz but for the purpose of ruling things out I would manually set your primary at 5.5.5.18.5.54 & see how you go.

Thanks C-N! I'm really hoping this is a OC/BIOS issue, because it'll be a b**** to find the hardware causing this, but I tried changing some things and temporarily have CPU voltage set to automatic and it's doing okay so far. But I'll continue tweaking it and see what happens.
