Maybe your card is to hot and slow down to finish the tests securely
My card don´t go higher than 50ºC Full loaded :fact:
@Counter CS my card on 3d can`t get under 80 degrees  any ideas how to make it to run colder? When i bench i set the air conditioner at 16 degrees set the Turbine power at 100% and install 2x100mm fans from Cooler Master Hyper 6+
@Frackal i use ati tool.Which OC tool can u recommend?
@icemann buy better cooling:D change thermal paste (artic silver 5) to get -5 or even more °C

This is made from my friend eddy :D, very quality work.. i have to get little more money to buy it :D
But i live in Bulgaria so u have to recommend a swiftech, zalman, TT,Cooler Master block
he sends this worldwide :P
and can u give me his contacts please?I want to communicate with him.
just got my rma'd 1900xt and its doing 725/810 @ 1.425/2.086/2.086/1.486 on water and ram sinks. Also i put a HUGE vreg sink and a fan on it. Core temps get up to 45c and vreg up to 54c.
wow, very nice clocks. The card must be pretty damn fast for games I would say.
very interesting... i ran 3dmark06 twice... once with automated fan speed control and the other with manual control... with automated fan control it reached a whopping 77 degrees after one run on 3dmark06, the second time with manual control i set the fan to 100%, you can barely hear this fan... temp was lowered to 69 degrees... i seems to me that automated fan control never actually goes to 100% fan speed unless it breaches a certain temp... =(
and suprisingly im only 100+ points away from 5K on 3dmark06 with stock clocks... initially when i benched with onboard audio my score was like 4200+, after adding the soundcard instant 600+ points?? lol.. i don't mind that at all..

okay.. most of you know i have a X1900XT... i've had this card for about 2 weeks now or slightly more than 2 weeks... i've benched this baby a couple of times on 3dmark06... well plenty of times in fact...
but strangely for the first time yesterday i noticed artifacts in the canyon flight and deep freeze scenes... return to proxycon has no issues.. somehow it only seems to happen with the 2 SM3.0 scenes...
the only thing that has changed since the time i've got this card is the addition of a soundcard... and my entire rig is powered by a verudium 430W.. do u think my PSU is starting to feel the pinch??
or could there be something else a miss?? wad could be the reason tht it only happens during the SM3.0 scenes?? but return to proxycon is fine?? i've played GRAW a fair bit too and everything is maxed out but i do not notice and artifacts when playing GRAW and this problem sarted last night...
should i go RMA?? or change my PSU?? i honestly think it may be my PSU..
I have never heard of that psu to be honest and 430w might be kinda low for that card. How many amps on the 12v rail? I'm inclined to think its the psu as well. I have no clue why it only happens on certain tests but perhaps the power draw when running those particular sm 3.0 tests is a bit much for the way your system is currently setup. Just a thought however. I hope it gets better for you, I know I would be upset if my X1900XTX started showing arties out of no where. BTW, what kind you getting? white specs, black lightning, flashing?
more like tearing... and jaggies... lol.. yeah.. i'm pretty upset.. gonna get a SilverStone 650W this weekend...Quote:
