LN? mode+Extreme OV enabled for >1.92v didn't do much to help unfortunately. I was hoping for 2x4GB 32M stability at 2400 C8 or C9.

1866CL9 kits are much better and some kits are better than other. You could buy 3-4kits until you found a very good one.
I will post soon some results on AMD.
These sticks seem to have a hard VDIMM wall at 1.72v. Higher than that and they don't even want to boot.Quote:

I buyd 2x2GB kit of these for 15€ and these does 2400MHz 9-9-9-27 from the first boot. More testing to come..

This is new Crucial Ballistix 1866 CL9 2x2GB 1.5v (BLE2G3D1869DE1TX0CEU 16FMR). Measured voltage 1.66v (1.65v from bios).
Pretty good for 15€ (7,5€/unit, buyd them seperately).
