Anyways have just switched the video card to an ATI card and can now lock the PCI-e bus.
Huh... that's odd. Anyway, 100 works great with my 7800GT.Quote:

Yeah 2.1V works fine but it limits my o/c somewhat. (my fatbodies need vdimm)Quote:

It's DDR2 667, but I really can't afford more. And just because it says 1.8V... with all the problems I've been reading, I want to be sure it will work before I go and order anything (stupid RAM is keeping me from ordering the other $600 worth of stuff I need to build my pc from Newegg right now).
I've heard about problems with Gskill in DS3, I'm in the same boat as you. OCZ guys are really cool though, taking my ram for testing/rma right now.
I think a lot of it was referring to G.Skill sticks that used 800Mhz which I believe would have them require atleast 2.0V to work.Quote:

Even though the RAM is rated at 2.1v, my system would not pass memtest at all stock settings and speeds with that vdimm. I dropped it to 2.0v, and memtest ran fine for 9 hours. I have yet to overclock yet, but I was just happy to get a stable system at stock. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Just pointing out that my fortron blue storm 500W works like a charm with the ds3 I own.
I flashed it 3 minutes ago, I was not able to boot with 9 x 410, and now I can :cool:Quote:

Any idea on what the fixes/changes were?
I'm hoping it fixes the 2.1v Ram, any luck here?
Well, I think they fixed the temp bug in many cpu temp read progs because I now have an accurate temp ( same as bios ) but maybe that is because I installed my cooler again.
With f4 I there was a pause I think while booting, that`s also gone. Don`t know if they fixed the 2.1V ram, see for yourself . Working great :)
edit : seems the iritating booting and booting over and over again with a to high fsb is also gone ( well that was my problem )
I can't yet unfortunately; :mad:Quote:

Maybe this bios is better for 4mb chips , because in the other thread a few people notice no difference with a E6400.
this ram works good with the DS3. It boots whith no problems on 1.8V.
I bought the corsair 6400C4 and had no problem at all booting at firstQuote:
