Everything on stock voltage besides CPU (1.31V BIOS, 1.29V load), 2.05Vdimm.
The only thing i am worried is about NB temp since i cant check it but should be ok right ? 450 fsb is not too much :D .
I think it's time that I changed my mobo... I think its obvious from reading around that E6600's dont clock well with P965 chipsets and this is only causing me more grief that it is worth, so in the near future I will be purchasing a new board. This time thorough research is going into it!
Just for clarification I don't think this motherboard is bad, I think the chipset is not best suited for E6600s (aka Conroes)
the chipset is quite fine with conroes. The thing about 6600's is that if you're intending on running 3.6, 400fsb would suit you quite well. However, if you're looking for more, you'd be much better off dropping the multiplier to 8x since you don't recall internal latencies from 400 until 466. What makes you say that p965's aren't suited for conroes? They have inherent cold boot oddities, which I've also seen in older p945's. Asus says it's because of special signaling required to get the southbridge powered while running higher fsb's.
People have said that e6300/6400 were best for p965 and not i975x not because p965's aren't suited for e6600's, but because p965's generall clock into higher fsb's than 975's. That said, e6600 and 975 has been a great combo because of the fact that 6600 has a high multiplier, and 400fsb is reasonably attainable on 975s, especially newer ones. Whereas, with a lower end c2d with a lower multiplier, you'd probably be hungry for more clock speed, and you'd end up getting fsb limited by the board.
WOW mine too..Quote:

I'm coming back for one more shot with a rev 3.3. Hoping it holds the OC on cold boots this time...

If you have a dmm and are willing to do some testing, I might be able to determine a pencil voltmod for it.
totally agree, when the board was $150, ehh. came down ALOT, def worth the $$ now. keep us posted on your results, i had bad cpu batch when testing my latest boards, not 1 cpu was worth a fck. are you using the same 6300 that you're getting 515fsb on the asus with?...Quote:

Still testing oc and stability - need to shut down and check the cold boot issue too. I'll report back in a few days after I get some time with it. Right now trying to get orthos stable at 3.5 Ghz, before 1.4 would yield me 1.35v - this board at 1.4 gives me about 1.32 so I needed to bump up a touch.Quote:

hey guys what do you think the chances of getting a revisions 3.3 from a etailer is now? I was gonna order from ncix up here in canada but im unsure as I really want th 3.3 revision. Its either the 3.3 gigabyte or the biostar mobo. Im not totally sold on the biostar yet and i have no idea if it supports 1333 fsb (something i want in a bit). So what do you guys think? Good chance of a 3.3 or should i go with the biostar? (does the biostar support 1333 fsb either)?
they should all be. Newegg sent me 2 x rev 3.3s this week. One an order and one an RMA for rev 1 that dies.Quote:
