But when I run something really stressful like OCCT Linpack x64, the machine just shuts down instantly and reboots, no BSOD or anything. I've tweaked every BIOS setting, both up and down and nothing even makes an improvement. I was faily certain it was the MB causing the problem so I swapped in my old X58-DS4 and it's currently running 180x25 4500MHz with the same voltage settings I used on the UD5, fully stable in OCCT Linpack. Anyone have any ideas? I don't think I can RMA the board since it works fine at stock speed. Personally I think something is wrong with the power delivery circuitry for the CPU socket, or perhaps it's not up to the task of powerig a 980x at high clocks in the first place. Thanks for reading!
