it's far from orthos stable. that goes around 3600Mhz.
at 459fsb it drops complete dead. no matter what voltage i feed it.
pretty good for a $75 cpu.

SuperPi ran fine, but i couldn't boot higher, and i found no Clockgen or SetFSB that worked ( MSI P35 NEO2-FR, same as P35 platinum) :'(
I got my new Freezer7 heatsink and I cranked 'er up to she what she'll do. I was able to achieve 533FSB x 7 with my E6300 and un-modded P5B vanilla motherboard. I ran the usual tests and temperatures were acceptable and the system was rock solid. I reduced the ram timings to 4-5-4-4-12 with memset, 533MHz is pretty good for DDR2-533 ram @ 2.1v, but I guess it is 533 ram after all :) I tried 535FSB but got blue screen in Windows during testing with the tighter timings. At 540FSB she would boot but flounder.
I know many have higher o/c's and are more stable, ect, but I am pretty happy considering this is a semi-cheapo system with the lowest cost parts throughout. My E6300 is an early one from July '06. It o/c smooth as butter and did 3670MHz with only 1.4v. I cranked the vCore to 1.5 and higher, as temps were not an issue with the new Freezer7 on full tilt. I know this cpu is a golden one and would go much faster with a better mb & cooling.
