you're right, but 15 sec atitool stable is enough to run 3dmark.
and that pcie speed, thank you for mentioning, because i couldn't find the reason for the low framerates :)

The HR-03 w\ 120MM Yate Loon 2200RPM works very well, 33C idle and ~45C load with volts 1.2-1.39v (22C ambient)

Somebody figure out OVP mod, I want 900Mhz :worship:

Are you using stock cooler? Any volt mods? My card was stable 720-738Mhz core at stock. Your card seems a little better. How is your memory, can you run 2106Mhz easily?

I was just benching 3dmark06 with 918Mhz on the core at 1.49v load, it ran couple minutes and then ovp kicked in and card halted :mad: I did it with ovp mod using 4.1k ohms and 3.1ohms, it didn't work.

Yes stock fan, no volt mods this will be my first.

What would you suggest i get my hands on to pull all this off.

I push my mem to 1000 in riva tuner. does that mean 2000?

Hey I did the volt mod, but am still waiting on a water block so I havent pushed it very far yet, however I have a problem. My problem only occurs after waking up from sleep mode. After it wakes up, about 5 or so minutes later the video card crashes and the screen goes black. This usually happens when I'm on the internet. However if it did not come out of sleep mode and just normally booted up the card runs awesome with everything including serveral hours of crysis and such. Im running vistax64 anyone have any ideas or had a similar problem?

Known issue. Try the latest beta forceware drivers...169.12.

I'm using an EK waterblock. max 45C load temp, 3DM06 stable at 864 core.

OCP mod ;) (Maybe)

I don't believe those temps are load at 1.39V on air...
What are you using for load? And is it the card temperature or core?

These are same resistors (x78 value) nick removed from a gts, and his effect was no more vdroop.

Great job! :up: I already tried it on my card and it worked like a charm! Running 1.49v load without a hickup.

Now show me some results! I found out that above 1.5v load gives minimal improvements.

Removing the x78 resistors does indeed work, I'm running the core at 1.5v now, but the OC isn't stable over 890.

Done a few test and 900mhz at 1.48v is the max for me but that only got me a few hundred points in benchies. Anything above 1.5v is useless for me as the core and shaders do not benefit from the extra voltage at all.

900mhz core with what shader clock and for how long?? cause i can play for like an hour on 864/2160 core/shader before it crashes

I just did the vmem mod, but when my VR is set to 20komh vmem is 2.1v

So is it overvoltet stock, it's the MSI OC version, stock at 650/950. Volt's isn't helping at all on mem.

i have seen X1900 perform better with lower mem voltages to bad we cant adjust voltages in software like you can with the X1K and HD2K cards.

can you guys tell me what iron do you use to unsolder this resistor? I have a crappy 30W one and I feel it won't be enough powerful to unsolder it, what do you think?
