Just up FSB with remote:)Quote:

Use Crystal cpuid :)
3.1 on air is not bad :)
Is that step 4 or 8?
It's a step 8 ;)
nice cpuQuote:

Hmm, I'll get my one of my mobo by friday (got 2 on the way)..
Any conclusion on that vcore mod gaining FSB???
Hipro5, ohhh Hipro5, where are you ? :p: Got your board yet mate ? :)

max fsb is 249 :(
but, that's the max in bios too ?
We need vcore mod to >1.5V bios stock to go further up.Quote:

Super Clocks Gamer!!! What is the actual VCORE? As CPU-Z is not right, I guess.
1.5v in bios.
I just love this cpu :)
the Max. Stabil.. I am not SuperPi Freak ;)Quote:

I still dont know why people are doing that mod .. respect but hey.. i can boot all the way up to -190 :D without any problems.
Most of the time mine can't post @-9C evap temp.:(Quote:

There is 17K Ohm between R570 and pin #1 of that winbond chip? And 33K Ohm between it and L46 (ground)?
hey aopen dudes! we need well.. i :D need compability/support for the Areca arc-1210 sataII raid controller.. please?!? :)
It worked:toast: ..Vcore temp. in bios stays @ 11C air or phase:toast:
Now I can boot straight to 240 from bios:) then remote control will take care the rest:)

Like kyosen said...set white and grey wire @17k before solder it to board..
http://img359.imageshack.us/img359/7374/tcore3ys.jpg
This should work  . Using original resistor + 20K Vr, no need to cut trace. We'll see if it does work @ -80C - the 2600 just arrived :D
EDIT: Sorry about the ugly soldering job.....
Honey...... where is my remote???:( Dayumn... I forget where I put that thing....I need to overclock NOW:)
Found it...Heres a bit oot. with single 1900xtx@690/800..

what cooling ?
great result !!
Looks good Dumo, is that ss or more???
Have you ever compared your ES to your retail?
Gamer where are youre results :D
It appears that Yonah has only a slight performance edge over X2 on similar clocks, closer than one would expect from the PI scores. If the chip cannot run past 3.6ghz on xtreme cooling I think it will only be a match for a good FX-60. I'll be testing very soon.

Core Duo T2600 @ 3300 MHz
7900 GTX @ default
Wow, nice score!
OK...I can verify now that this mod works on air...it allows temp adjustment while in bios :woot:Quote:

i just asked to franck his last made version, and is dated of 19 april :
http://wowgame.free.fr/util/ClockGen.zip
anyone can test it, and view if it's realy the last fully fonctionnal clockgen ?
VERY IMPORTANT - WHEN SWITCHING BETWEEN CPUS - ALWAYS CLEAR CMOS - ACTUAL CORE TEMPS WILL GO UP BY 20-30C if CMOS IS NOT CLEARED
Why does that happen?Quote:

Well people... mayb i have some really weird question.. In the manual there's nothing about the jumper (yellow) near the cpu ;)
Does someone know what it does in other setting? Mayb this is our fsb wall?
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...-051230-01.jpg
OMEGA says that this jumper J1 is related to Vcore.Quote:

I've not confirmed it myself, but Vigor says that he got same result.
Hail to Japanese, they are way ahead of us :D
we have a question, they have an anwser :D
Well, yeah. the Japanies are ahead, and I think they'll win, but keep in mind more than 50% of us still havnt got a freakin' board...
I had the same Question in Hardwareluxx Forums, but no answer jet.Quote:

Step 4 seems to be much weaker
im stable at 3120 on air w/ all voltage settings on max, dual-prime stable for 9 hours.

my guess it's the temp that's holding us back, installed watercooling (due to my mounting for Phase change doesn't fit) and gained 2 fsb in validation.
http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=88228
so, how is this possible ?
never heard about that....
Waus gained 2-3fsb, with 30c cpu temp to -150c cpu temp.
So
don't know, maybe a bad cpu ?
others have to test this too, not just air ===> phase.
So there is something getting to hot :p
If the chipset is holding u back there is little u can do I guess.
Anybody can test Max FSB at differents Cpu temp (20/40/60°c) ? , by turning off the cpu fan and low Multi (10X).
Ah, I can boot at 5 FSB more :D
More cooling and voltage yield more Mhz:)Quote:

If it's getting better under cold it's just a non-coldbug, AMD's HTT gets worse when chilled.Quote:

You can say the board is crap or yonah is crap, well, just keep in mind Yonah is designed as a laptop cpu. When you blame intel or Aopen well it isn't really fair. Ofcourse it a pain in the ass ! But when it's a fault of the motherboard (I don't think it to be honest, just because of the fact it seems very cpu dependent) you can blame Aopen. For now, well it just sucks ! But still a Yonah at 2xx mhz FSB is still hell fast :)
OK, I've noticed these cpu's to be a little erratic. They'll run to one speed at a certain time, and then they won't do it a second time. While I can boot at 3+G most every time, there are times where I can't even make it past the bios screen. It seems to me, if I can reach the speed, it will at least be able to finish a 1m run (except for one time). I played a bit more with the chip and it looks as if the newest bios helps a bit. When I mount the autocascade, I'm expecting much better numbers since I'm hoping the NB will freeze over :D Still on stock aluminum heatsink:
http://img238.imageshack.us/img238/9426/31461m5zd.jpg
Board arrived like almost everybody , T2600 es (ofcourse :D ) xp90 +90mm fan cooled.
looks like max cpu, becouse i get the "not exact in round" thing @ 244fsb
no mods
try'd lower multi but its not working good i think , aopen coo program give me still 3100mhz+ @ 10x 243,.......verry weard :(
score is ok i think.
http://rol-co.nl/images/yonah243fsb.jpg
ok Waus -mod you can ad it now..:woot:
I've hit a solid wall @ 263 fsb on my modded prom.
262 = stable, 263 instant freeze :(
mounting could be better though, will look at it in the weekend.
results for now :
So, max FSB depends of the cpu temps ?
Can you try max FSB with 10X multi please ?
looks like it...
I've tested with air, water and phase change, when temperature drops, fsb goes up.
so this means the board is fine, cpu is the limited factor....
