The sleeved cables really look the best in a modded PC and here is no exception. If you can't hide 'em, show 'em to great effect. Charles redefined the way PSU cables should be sleeved.

Thanks for the comments guys. :)
Fried Chicken, your order is ready for pickup.
I’ve been waiting a month to say that. :lol2: Ok, I was a bit premature; I’ve still got to verify whether there’s adequate airflow in the upper chamber with the new grill. I’ll be testing for ambient temps under load and whatnot. I hope to have results later in the week. There’s no question that the top grill won’t be adequate for an air-cooled system – no way, no how.
twwen2 I’ll report back with a detailed analysis Mate. :yepp:
Final finals w/ wallpaper sizes.
If anyone wants to see them with the correct color profiles they can turn on color management support in Firefox 3.
link
Color management is turned off by default to prevent subtle color variations affecting the overall look of web sites. To enable it you must set gfx.color_management.enabled to true (via about:config) and restart Firefox.
Then you'll see the actual color of that SATA cable. :D

Charles my friend *handing over the towel* - I hope you survived in your little studio - the photos are worth it!!!! :D
Congratulations Fried-Chicken for getting this machine. Enjoy your way home ... watch the guys in black suits chasing you ;)
Btw. Charles: Even without Firefox 3 it does look as orange as it should on a hardware calibrated monitor!
Oh wow. Awesome work Charles
I am so envious FriedChicken - that is possibly the best TJ07 build I have ever seen!! Fantastic work Charles!
Charles - I look forward to seeing your analysis of the top plate - I don't see any problems with running one in mine as I still use the 92mm fans at the back but the whole system will be under water so a minimal air flow will be sufficent.
woo, thanks alot Charles pics look good
this simply looks stunning...amazing work
Simply beautiful. I'm running out of superlatives :p:.
Congrats to all involved
hahaha i'm downloading every wallpaper :D might cycle through them everyday on my desktop :D
charles, i didn't noticed earlier that you painted the PCI slot covers & I/O plate
It starts looking kindda messy for me, i like it more simplistic u know :P, as clean as possible. BTW charles u are the MAN :yepp:, murdermod is totally kickass.
I wonder how heavy the case is :D
speachless...
Wow a lot of updates since my last visit!
The orange SATA does wonders. One can call it artsy, or stylish --- but it adds a whole 'nother dimension. Its like the box has a voice saying "I'm sexy and you know it!"
Hmm what can i say that hasnt already been said...
"I am now pleased to award you, Charles, the first man to use enough sleeving to circle the Earth!"
or
"In Soviet MurderBox, PC turns on YOU!"
or
"FriedChicken's first reaction: :bananal:"
:ocau:
Cheers Guys. :toast:
It's so freakin' hot in there, I can't tell you. My "lighting" consists of the Sun and a couple pieces of white foam core. I shoot in the AM and bounce the sun off the cards onto the machine. The room is a 6' wide "sunroom" with floor to ceiling windows facing East. It's about 38°C in there in the morning and I probably lose a gallon of water every time I do pics.
Thanks for thee towel mate, do you want it back? :p:
I hear you. It's borderline for me. Like FC said, the idea was "controlled chaos". Next featured build will be back to the cleaner look. :)
It's a beast. The loop is two litres of coolant. I estimate it weighing in at 30kg and that's a conservative estimate. Every time I have to heft it off and on the bench I expect a football sized hernia to explode out of my groin, Alien style.
:ROTF:
A rough guess would put the total length at 150ft
I can just see the Techflex Execs; sitting around the boardroom table, trying to understand the recent surge in sleeving sales...
I wonder if they trade publicly. ;)
jesus:eek:
I absolutely love the sleeved tubing Charles.
Now we're even. I stole your sleeved SATA cable idea awhile back :D
Respect bro! :D This is one of mine 5 fav case mod ever!!!!
I really love the originality and aesthetics of this mod and the execution is without peer. Nice work!
Secondly, I had a question about the copper elbows you used on this case and on a different one you posted pictures of in this same thread. Are you using one size above the tubing size to get them nice and snug? Do you have to use any sealant along with it to make sure it doesn't leak?
Amazing!!!!
I wish i could shots like that!
Would it be possible to see a 'night' shot if you still have the case? I'm interested in seeing the more subtle lighting effects instead of the disco look xD
Thats a great work of art man, good job!!!
