I’ve been waiting a month to say that. :lol2: Ok, I was a bit premature; I’ve still got to verify whether there’s adequate airflow in the upper chamber with the new grill. I’ll be testing for ambient temps under load and whatnot. I hope to have results later in the week. There’s no question that the top grill won’t be adequate for an air-cooled system – no way, no how.

If anyone wants to see them with the correct color profiles they can turn on color management support in Firefox 3.

Color management is turned off by default to prevent subtle color variations affecting the overall look of web sites. To enable it you must set gfx.color_management.enabled to true (via about:config) and restart Firefox.
Then you'll see the actual color of that SATA cable. :D

Charles - I look forward to seeing your analysis of the top plate - I don't see any problems with running one in mine as I still use the 92mm fans at the back but the whole system will be under water so a minimal air flow will be sufficent.

It's so freakin' hot in there, I can't tell you. My "lighting" consists of the Sun and a couple pieces of white foam core. I shoot in the AM and bounce the sun off the cards onto the machine. The room is a 6' wide "sunroom" with floor to ceiling windows facing East. It's about 38°C in there in the morning and I probably lose a gallon of water every time I do pics.Quote:

Secondly, I had a question about the copper elbows you used on this case and on a different one you posted pictures of in this same thread. Are you using one size above the tubing size to get them nice and snug? Do you have to use any sealant along with it to make sure it doesn't leak?
