I'd be more impressed if we had seen multiple passes on test #5. I'll bet that won't even boot into windows.
I'd love to be wrong though :toast:

2t :d
At ONLY 3.2Vdimm and 2-2-2-5 AND 300MHz it is IMPOSIBLE as for me no matter on what platform..... :stick:
I think that it must be Memtest-86 that showing crazy things - aka older version - OR your friend may uses a multi of ".5" and memtest shows those crazy things........NO WAY at 3.2Vdimm and 300MHz 2-2-2-5..... :D
PLUS it is TOO LOW Bandwidth@1417MB/s at 300MHz EVEN for only one Ram stick...... :D
imposible. thats not even running at 240mhz, bandwidth too low.

I don't know but shouldn't the clock chip give something like 300.xxMHz, not exactly 300.00MHz? :bs:?
try 2-2-2-6 makes a hell of a difference for me. up vagp to 1.8 if you can. please try again :DQuote:

my guess is this
300x7.5 so the mems are actually at aprox 266MHz
it's nice for 266MHz even at 3.2V try 1T :slap:
well it will remain 2250 from ranges ~299.94-300.06

i thought would be at 281mhz, 2-2-2-5 2t.
2250 / 9 = 250mhz
so how are you even getting 266?
i smell new world record at 2-2-2-5 timing :hehe:
:bounces: :eleph: :YIPPIE:
definately not a world record... but I think it is about 280-285 MHz.
shroomy has benched his UTT past 280 in windows and Ive seen BH5 screenies at 300 2-2-2
Memtest 86 test 5
35 pass error fre
2-2-2-5 timing
more than 300MHz :hehe:
multiplier 7
drumm rolling :bounce:
@tictac : bukan bessie.. ada anak ocindo juga, ini sekarang gue test sendiri... biar bisa liat sendiri ..
so i go to his house and tested by myself... and i use memtest 1.40 and multiplier 7 now .. the result with 3.2v is :
spec :
a64 s754 3000+
DFI LPUT 250gb
TwinMOS Speed Premium AA4T 44D
guys : i cannot believe my eyes also.. i dunno.. this is like "twilight zone" for me... or maybe "freaky sunday" ...

No more mem-test. Lets see CPU-z with at least a Sandra benchmark please.
OH MY GOD 313MHz! Thats crazy, definitely ordering as soon as i find some in stock.
something is wrong
with 3.2v there is NO WAY running 313mhz.
end of period.
I second that... bandwidth screens please :stick:Quote:

Show us a windows benchmark :)
where does everyone see 313mhz? it clearly says 315mhz...
how does that stick do with 1T, instead of 2T?
and yea, lets see some windows stuff.

wow.. i have to get some sleep now.. it's allready 5 AM :(
- why not windows bench?
:: the cpu-z cannot read the mem speed, also everest,rightmark.. etc,i'll try it again tommorow though... now time to sleep... ::
ppl please ... i'm not trying to lie or anything, what's the point anyway...so please can somebody try those setup in the same rig.. i think its a common rig anyway (DFI LP UT+ newcastle a64 3000+ ) ..
PS: it's 315 mhz right?
i got exam at 8am :(Quote:

tictac, the funny thing is, is that everyone else went with what you said... as opposed to what the actual screenshot said... >_>

Not convinced at all... its not doing 315 @ 2-2-2-5 with 3.2v.
Lets see some windows shots?
The point is that I would actually like to see some indication that you can use windows with a degree of stability rather than a photo of mem-test.Quote:

Like I said, CPU-z and Sandra screenies please or I call shens.
i would like to test ANY memory to try to get into windows @ 300 2-2-2-6
BTW, that screen is impressive, 1T or not.
the question is not so much 1t or not... it's a question of whether or not the DFI / MemTest are reporting the speed correctly... I'm leaning a long way towards some glitch going on there...Quote:

setyotomo still sleeping..... so be patient .... :)
and 315Mhz is not the maximum limit yet... :hehe:

My personal opinions are that while some of these chips are simply awesome, the fact you've got to feed them so much voltage makes then unattractive to a large number of people. I am playing with some of these, but since I don't have quite the available voltage as some, I'm not ready to sell my bh-5 yet.
Is this a joke, with 315FSB bandwidth is xtreme low.

I just got some 2 512mb 44D AA4T week 0448 chips from here a couple days ago, haven't tested them out yet though.. the neo2 is still on its way back from RMA.
want to bet? :hehe:
Windows Screen shot coming...
drum rolling..............
id rather do a small vmod or select a good mobo than to hope for a good memory controller for TCCD

By the way guys, I know several of you have seen this thread that was started by Alonso, but for those that haven't...it looks like TwinMOS is looking for more ways to get all of our money...Speed Premiums DDR450 with BH-5 is coming!
And DDR1 is supposed to be on the way out?

This isall insane...don't you just love it? Soon we get to start all over.
bad twinmos! :slapass:Quote:

thx shroomalistic for trying with the same spec i guess?? now this is starting to get more objective... :) , this is why i like reading in XS :DQuote:

ok this the screenshot... the timing reading looks like faulty in cpu-z... (in memtest is 2-2-2-5) .. or memtest reads faulty
and yes i see it too ... the idle timer is ridiculous, and tras & trc give error reading iguess.. or its a faulty from the mem controller...?

:toast:
oh ya one more tihing... why cpuz read as dual channel
can you take a screenshot with CPU-Z, smartguardian, clockgen and A64 tweaker please?
Great mem speed though.
that's cause cpuz momentarily does that when it first opens... try closing cpuz and reopening it again
Noobish Question: How do you take a screenshot of a BIOS SCreen or Memtest? Is it just done with a digital camera?
Download www.irfanview.com and plugins...
prnt-scr -> open irfanview -> ctrl-v to paste image -> use mouse to highlight only area you want to show -> ctrl-Y to crop that area -> ctrl-R to resize it to 450-575pixels for forums -> save as -> jpeg -> options set at 65-75% quality
= nice small image
HTH
to take bios and memtest screens they use digital camera. You can't run irfanview ;)
doh re-read his question.. yeah digi cam needed :D
now that's weird ...
can you try a different BIOS and get approx 315?
is the Voltage reading correct in CPUz??
how about max bench for sandra,pi??
maybe it's some kind of BIOS bug...
sorry for all of these questions but you understand your speed is way out of the limit
and we have to make sure everything is OK!
/edit have you tested those RAMs in a complete different PC ?
i use digicam.. if you have manual options, try to set the shutter low maybe 1/15 or 1/20 with f 4.0 or 5.0 .. you should get rid of the "flicker" thingQuote:

danke
i know this isnt the same thing but it looks like its giving the same results
omfg! :stick: :slobber:
shroomy was jus showing that CPU-Z has an error, nothing more... that ram is actually on a devider... but im not sure which one, maybe 5/6Quote:

Sandra scores are just crap but it looks good. Everything will say that its running at those speeds but it really isnt. If everyone here with an a64 tried the 4 multi, they would get similar results. Now for Setyotomos, I think he got a cpu with the 7 mutli bugged. Maybe his 4 mutli is fine. But like I said, thats good for screenshots only, let see some sandra and pcmark at that and see what they get.
330*4/5 as i can remember... 264mhz. It's not so bad... ;)

use cpuz version 1.26
that sandra attach is a new WR! Onepagebook to go over 9200 needed (as i remember) lot of MSI boards and some cherrypicked Gskills...
:D:D:D:D One day that 55000 points sandra will be real... i hope so :P
further proof that 315+ 2-2-2- memtest bandwidth is too low
on DFI NF3 250Gb with 3700+ cpu @ 9x 273mhz
2x 256MB XMS3500C2v1.1 BH-5 @ 273mhz 2-2-2-6 at 3.57v = 2000 MB/s bandwidth
2x 256MB XMS3500C2v1.1 BH-5 @ 266mhz 2-2-2-6 at 3.57v = 1949 MB/s bandwidth
:hehe: that 315MHz is running at 2T timing & 256 idle clockQuote:
