Thanks for this,it seems bumping GHz up a little makes a big difference,no wonder I'm behind I'm still at 5000 Ghz,its all good I think we just need to sort out the limit

No worries guys i can run it again... It's just the motherboard,if you set 49*102.1 in bios it goes up a bit in the os... just this don't worry i will run again a touch down...:)
wow! Great run crusty..D
Slick scores!
Also I like your music taste:up: :D
Hey little testing Ive been doing, the second UP5 board is different to bench on and seems to require less volts and able to push memory's a bit higher frequency. Both these runs are @2v and Pi Cl6
4GHz run,trying different things

I could not have done any of this without the vast help from this thread and the awesome members in this community and good friends. (Zen, Splave, Dumo, Don Dan, Sham, runmc, hiwa, bullant etc...)
Agreed Sam did not except tRCD 9 at 2600+, that's Andre dimm territory:D
Indeed Roy, 2300 c8's from early seem to be good clockers.
I wish I might try and tackle this again this weekend when I refill, I'm out of gas atm.

I know you are going to tag me tomorrow when the goods get there XD
ευχαριστίες:D Still trying to chase your run down, but I think I am going to need 2 more dimms to catch you and Angoholic.
Thank you mr. efficiency:)
Awesome loud, its one thing to have some nice memory's for the job but to put a run together like you have done here really does show case your awesome memory skills, well done mate.

^ Wow, 42's are at your fingertips!
Those settings at 5Ghz will for sure be under 16.16.4xx
Thanks Loud, didn't test 5ghz but did test 4ghz at these timings above @ 2666 also and it was fast, got to about loop 8 just need to mod this pot some how.Ran full pot and could only get temps down to 105-110 with HS on,thanks for trying C6 you showed me the way,we can all learn from each other and improve
yeah this is definitely going to be the a tough one to beat when it pops out! nice work mate!

Awesome!
Thanks so much for the kind words guys, have learnt so much from you guys, seeing some great memory Overclockers subs in this thread and learning from them
problem here is you didnt get the exact right vdimm. no trolling, no jokes. those bbse are picky... once you dial in the right volts, they will comply. i have a similar issue with UP7. I have to fine tune it with the llc level to get it to play nice.
yes, i do know exactly what sticks you are talking about... both George and myself have been able to do numerous 2600 passes 8-11-7 air. allen, want the "better" kit? 2650 8-11-7 air by myself and dino...
now that ive talked all this smack... time to not bench as work continues to consume all my time. hell its been a while since ive even posted.
He is talking about the 6-9-7-28 @ 2654, not the BBSE Davis;)
I feel bad because I am pretty sure I gave him the wrong voltage (1.88v vs. 1.885), and I know it seems miniscule but that is just how that set acts.
Allen will have all of my good BBSE by tomorrow, so between him and I, I figure someone in the US will be able to get a decent run in with them on cold:rofl:
BBSE has been so fail for me, but I am going to try the 2200 c9 Ripx under cold and it they suck I am done. Who needs BBSE when you have 6-9-7 PSC:D
yeah BBSE very finnicky. BBSE might be the go if you can get them going at 1300 6-9-6. from memory 1250 was ok but 1300 was hard on my kit which is a lot crappier than zen's
oh my bad... guess you thought 6-9-7-28 @ 2654 was a hard thing to do (j/k) much props to Allen for trying to chase that down. i dont have the cash or time to even attempt it.
try some 4 slot bdbg action under cold. ;)
dino, that kit has been collecting dust for a long time now :( no time to bench or try cold.
I was able to get two loops to pass @ 1354 Mhz @6-10-6-28 tWCL6,will keep trying when refilled
Hey bull ant got any frosty pics? Love to see the 4 dimms frosty :)
Do BBSE not play nice under 28 tRAS?
My chip IMC is real bad and chip can't hit 5GHz but I see you all running 28.
I haven't done any Pi tweaking since E8600 + D9 + REX or Biostar Tpower i45 days.
22 should be fine on good stuff
Oh yes BBSE's are tricky... my kit above 1.85-1.86v is no go on air...happy they do 1333 8-11-7-22 tight at those volts...
Also mine HATE vtddr... 0.75 nothing more nothing less... Good thing they have no coldbug which makes it really easy to bench with...
Also with them all memory related voltages(vsa-vsio etc) need fine tuning in order to run properly...
Imho in order to bin bbse first make sure your cpu is up to it and then try fine tuning all your voltages on air to get them at at least 1300 8-11-7-22 with tight thirds.
After that geting them cold won't be that tricky...
Did manage 2 loops of 32M as well @these timings the other day too, will try again with memory colder and upon refill

up all night again lol

http://i.imgur.com/u3gHrgf.png
thanks Sam for the BBSE, what made me decide to try these under cold is the extreme amount of heat they were emitting in comparison to other kits, turned out to be a good hunch:)
pics in a bit. . .
Would never have thought that these 2200C9 would clock so well under cold given results on air.
I can ship you the reason(s) why I sold these, if you're willing to give them a similar treat :)
l0ud show us the 7-8-6 aida lol crazy

Strange PSC, not stable 8-12-8-28 1.92v -95c..............
2600 7-10-7 pass -50c 1.92v
2650 7-10-7 fail -50c 1.92v
2650 7-10-7 fail -68c 1.92v
2650 7-10-7 fail -75c 1.92v
2650 7-10-7 fail -50c 1.94v
2650 7-10-7 pass -55c 1.94v
2700 not possible to get stable passed 1 loop tried every combination. over -58c is immediate fail.
2600 6-10-7 55
2600 7-9-7 55
2600 7-10-6 okay
Very weird....
if those are the sticks i think they are.... 2nd's are a :banana::banana::banana::banana: but can get pretty tight. and IF those are the same as I think they are, c7 2700 has been done on them already. watching this thread makes me want to run some 32m again... ive still got a few tricks and kits.
Allen, I noticed in another thread that you believe the 3rd letter of gskills naming convention is irrelevant? did I read that correctly? if so, ive got a few xdt and one xdz that i need to try out. I think the only one ive tried was the early gskill eco which are xdt (literally looked last night.) psc + up7 has been extremely difficult lately with f6c bios. gotta try me an asrocket.
George, PM me ive got an idea and a means.
Not sure bro, they are l0uds he bought from you :) you have some insight on the hating cold?

6min16 seems soo easy, even rejects do it under cold :D
trfc 56 passed a couple runs but was slower, strange could have pushed trefi harder but forgot woops.
Hey guys so I had 4 lrts of LN2 left and decided to test 2x2gb,would of liked bit more Ln2 to push bit more, think there still more in it,pretty close to my other time.

Very nice as usual especially with only 4LT. My single stage should be showing up in the next few weeks so that will save some LN2, which means more memory to test under cold:)
I think the new goal we should be aiming for is 6:15.xx, before Haswell launch:D

hey bull so you can run 2700 with 4 dimm but 2650 with 2 dimm? or just run out of gas before you could push it
^ my mistake :) is 2700 7-10-7 not faster? Ive never tried because my imc cant do it.
trying some trident bbse right now
http://i.imgur.com/QbUyt4p.jpg
Just notice you said 2700 7-10-7,I didn't try cl7 was still on cl6.Im still using crap waza and no ram drive, you would notice on my 24 loop to value output is always about .100 of ,will have to work on it.Enjoy your benching I'm sure you will produce some nice results as always
seems this is not the best for 32m, maybe good 1m/PF or Im off on the vtt/sa combination that it wants.
http://i.imgur.com/bv0W8md.jpg
Youd think 7-9-6 twcl 7 or 6 would pass but not dice, kicking down to 2400 divider and adding some bclk they fail before the avantium. But maybe worth trying again in the future. Certainly not trash :X
testing l0uds epic bbse today thanks bro had a blast.

http://i.imgur.com/nzQT3xe.jpg
^That kit is truly the red headed step child, PSC mhz, with Hyper timings + lots of volts + lots cold=win:ROTF:
Excellent work Allen would have never thought that kit could do 2800 7-9-6 and boot from bios at those timings, truly a special kit, I think that kit needs a bit more vdimm / right IMC and it is going to do some crazy stuff on Haswell:D
So much out of the box thinking man, just blowing my mind!
Indeed...insane kit right there Splave. Congrats on that random 2800mhz run :D
You guys are going hard
Hard en the paint!
BBSE is such a blast to run under cold man, even though it is much harder on the IMC, but I would have never guessed they could run so high mhz wise. What is the max vdimm on the Giga board Bull? Higher than 2.1v? Maybe time to give the UP5H a spin since it runs BBSE so well...
Setup ready to go
http://i.imgur.com/vRG4jDZ.jpg
randobin BBSE binning method per Splave, grab two sticks out of reject pile with eyes closed and bench, bench, bench:D
http://i.imgur.com/cjzXZQc.jpg
http://i.imgur.com/OS37Jy0.jpg
Didn't think you had a UP5, its 2.1v in bios,I've only tried 1 kit of BBSE on UP5 and it didn't even go well.It was a low end kit tho(1600 Mhz),im sure it run bbse nice tho .I really only use PSC on it,the correct imc,vtt volts is the key for up5,really the key IMO,this mite be also on most boards but I've only ever tested Gigabyte on Z77
^what do you use man, seems 1.103v is money on OCF
l0ud, the future of avantium is in your hands bro
the future is here:D
So randobin Avantium dimms did not fail to please, sure there was no c6 twcl 6 action but considering these dimms would not run over 2400ish on air, I don't think the results are too bad.
best 5Ghz time
l0ud_sil3nc3 - 6:16:829 - 100x50 - 1300MHz - 7-9-6-18-68-1 - Asrock OC Formula -Avantium 2133 2X2Gb/BBSE - 2.1v -CPU LN2 -55c / Memory LN2 -150c

Really weird though, here is a no waza run which was smoking fast
http://i.imgur.com/F16Yj5f.png
but every run with waza was sooo much slower, makes me think I am taxing the IMC a bit much or the dimms can't do it not really sure.
http://i.imgur.com/AvfETuc.png
nice sticks here, impressive runs Splave and loud!
l0ud_sil3nc3 which Vddr like it on air? I have BBSE, but their dislike Vddr over 1.84 at air and I don't know is it worth to trying with LN2 or not
If you mean vdimm, this kit needed 1.92v for 2400 8-10-7-21 with everything else tight and tWCL 6, so supper crappy in other words:rofl:
If you mean vtddr then, auto which in the case of the Asrock board is 0.764v.
I think if you have BBSE that gets to 2400 on air, then it is probably worth trying under cold, but keep in mind I needed -150c at the dimms for the above as even -110c was not enough:eek:
