mad_skills i have a kit of cellshock (cl4 pc8000) ram sticks that are GKX.. they seem to need alot of juice to clock well.. i've been able to get them stable for 3d and superPi with 2.5v.. with latencys 4.4.3.3 @1200mhz
My 80mm stealth is attached by screwing one corner of the fan onto one of the D-Tek fusion standoffs. There is enough spare thread above the d-tek screw to mount the fan. Works really well, and is neat too! I need to grab a couple of 40mm fans for the pwm's really. Bit bothered about how noisey they will be though. And I havnt figured out how to fit them tbh.
Anyone using the 02/14 yet? How is it compared to 01/09? Any idea if i can flash it on my LT... it's only available for the UT on dfi's site but i don't think there is any difference between the mobo's except for the cooling system.
No, problem~ :D
My LT aleady flashed~
Bios font crash also edit~

ooppsss... i stand corrected... 2/14 Beta

@MikeMK: here's how fireice2 attached a 40mm fan on the PWM area... HTH :)

I can see this chip doing 4ghz, um at about 1.72v but i think the heat to the chip was the problem, and waas holding it back.
So i could try ice water but no need it should be able to do 572FSB this chip.
DoOb's
Thanks emoners, that helps alot! Hopefully that will take the edge off my temps. What do u recon is the highest the PWM's can go before effecting overclocking performance? im testing @ 4.2ghz and getting around 49-51 degrees when priming.
Also, I have some swiftech memsinks sat here doing nothing. Do u recon its worth sticking them on the long chips next to the PWM heatsink (cant remember what they are called). I think they would fit - especially with some trimming.

hey nikolas61... thats one nice chips you have there... its just begging to be tested with extreme cooling :up:
BTW what bios are you using ?????
Having issues OC'ing a new rig... See my signature for spec's
I can get the get it too boot at default volts at 3ghz. but when i try to burn it in using OCCT , Prime95, Orthos the tests fail in a matter of seconds 10 seconds to a minute.(yes of course i raise the volts for when attempting this) Everest is the only thing that doest fail.... i ran it for 30hours straight at 9x335 & 8x378. But it does seem to matter how much voltage i throw at it it wont run the other progs.
So now i'm starting from scratch ... it primed at stock speed 1.8ghz over 24hrs... now i'm priming it at 2Ghz.....I am unsure about what range the PWN temps should be around.. to me mine seems high....
CPU VID = 1.48
NB = 1.61
VDIMM = 2.1
FSB VTT = 1.58
Temps Load ... Temps idle...
Cpu = 50C Cpu = 27C
Chipset = 39C Chipset = 35C
Pwn = 45C Pwn = 42C
Any advice input would greatly be appreciated.. i was stoked when i ordered this mobo cuz of all its Gr8 OC'ing features and stability and seeing the results you all are getting with this mobo... so now i am just hoping its the cpu thats just not liking the oc'ing

I just put my P35 UT board back in my case as I was truly dissappointed with the P5E3 Deluxe...anyway, haven't done any long stress tests yet, but my E8400 is working like a charm so far at 8x525 (4.2ghz)...BIOS vcore is set at 1.375 and northbridge is at 1.53....I originally wasn't using GTL timings but decided to give it a go...with all of them set at 67 I was able to lower my vcore to what it is now....otherwise I was at 1.4.
I think with some more tuning, I will be able to get it even lower...I don't know why I even tried that :banana::banana::banana::banana:ty Asus board...this DFI board is by far the best clocking board I've used in the last 4 months....by the way, if anyone is interested, I'm using the Coolit Freezone Elite to cool the CPU. Will take screenies later after some more testing.
Hi,
I need some help with overclocking my E8200.
I got it Prime stable @ 3,6 GHz with Vtt=1,10, Vcore=1,26250 and GTLs @ 66/66/66
Right now i'm trying to hit 3,8 GHz but no success.
Can do SuperPI 32M, 3DMark06 but in Prime 1st thread always fails after just 3-10 seconds. Btw when i have any errors it's always on 1st thread
My current settings are:

http://iks.republika.pl/040.jpg
I'm still trying to reach on this Vcore 3,8GHz but i'm bit lost with GTLs - tried them from 50s to 66s, autos and results are the same.
Any help/suggestions please? Thanks.
@Krzychu: try disabling GTL & just play around with VTT & VCore...to make it easier. :) & maybe loosen your RAM timings...:)
24hours until i get my DK P35-T2 Gainward G92, and E8200 , going to test it with my D9GMH (aXeRam Transcend) and OCZ (Promos probably )EPP ;]
Stay tuned.
Version LT have CPU digital power section.
Does DK have it too? Because on DK are coils and many mosfets. On LT are not.
Does digital PWM and 8 phase have big influance on droop and max MHz of CPU?
Anyone using Team Group memory here?
I have a kit of TXDD2048M800HC4DC coming and I want to try it on this board. Pretty sure this is d9 gmh.
I have the HC3DC's, 2x1Gb. You can checkout how they did here -> http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=177531
Great memory for 4-4-4-4 IMO. They wouldn't stay memtest stable at 5-5-5-15, 600Mhz, performance level 7 but 5-5-5-15 sucks anyway ;)
Alright, I am a long time lurker here, and I did read through most of this thread to no avail.
I have this board running the 2/14 Bios and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to run half multipliers on my e8400.
Thanks guys,
.:R
