IMC = the memory controller inside the chip
remember sometimes more VCCIO is worse and also VCCSA
just put VCCIO = 1,1 = VCCSA
then up vdimm and memtest it to know if its stable
u have to open 4 instances of memtest of 1500 each if you r using 8GB
u can finf memtest 4.0 here http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte...ity-tools.html
cheers and good luck

nice
Hi there, I got 3570k and seeing ur chips or mine is crap or urs are gods cos I need 1.34 ish for 4600. My RAM is 2133 CL9 1.65 but tried a bit 1600 1.5V to see but no changes. Am I doing something bad or got crappy chip? Btw I´m talking about Costa Rica Batch 3217B314.
Atm I´m with AS5+AS5 waiting liquid ultra, that made me up from 4500 1.29 ish to 4600 1.34 ish. Prolly I will need 1.4 for 4700, very high seeing ur results, will try when get Liquid Ultra.
Btw, with 1.3 is Linx stable but for gaming I need to up that 0.05V ish.
Regards
Thanks Andressergio ;)
Here's my second L221B009 CPU which needs a little less vcore than my first one.

Not very appropriate MoBo from my sig won`t clock the memory above 2200 MHz in Dual Chanel.

hi guys nice oc's by the way Im only pushing my 3570k @ 4.2 needs way to much more v-core even 4.5ghz tried 1.35 v-core llc set to high bios still not fully stable but i was wondering Im running corsair vengeance 1600mhz ram will i see a benefit going to higher speed for gaming (or world community grid)
if so will it be a lot of difference
thanks
cpu batch no: L214C104 (REALLY BAD CPU FOR OC TO ME)
or im just rubbish at oc'ing cpus lol
Anyone here of any reports on a Costa Rico "D" batch ? Got one that I'll be testing as soon. Just gotta find time to get it set up gonna try first on air then probably move it to water.
work in progress! 4.8 was only stable with 1.360v!! Right now testing 4.7 at 1.248.
Quite a significant wall from 4.7 to 4.8, even though the temps were fine with 1.360, I would much rather use 1.248 for 24/7.
Anyway, still working on lowering all the voltages while keeping the performance up. Starting to look good though.

Should mention this is with PLL overvoltage disabled! Enabling it did not help at all with 4.8 stability.

I've just found out that CineBench R11.5 is pretty good to test if your O/Ced IB is stable.
My 3770K can do Prime95 4.6G for an hour without error at 1.250v but its fails CineBench R11.5. Had to bump it up to 1.255v to pass.
Come on doctor, you're tearing it up now. :D If only i could do 5G at 1.4V i'd be a happy camper.
Have a chance to pick up Batch#: 3217B605 , would it be ok or I should avoid these... my aim is to hit 5G on LC
I've had one with that batch code. It was a bad overclocker. Massman @ Hwbot have tested a few of that same batch and had a few good ones though. 5G on water is a quite a stretch, tried 3x 3770K's so far and non could accomplish that. At least not LinX and/or Prime stable at reasonable voltage. I don't want to run over 1.4V for daily use.
