Yea, and I don't think they confirmed it worked with the retention system or not.
O well, I will ordering it soon I think. I know i can use screws, but was hoping I could use the retention system :yepp:

Not sure if it is the same as the system in the Stacker 830, but I removed mine since I don't think it was deep enough to get a good grip on it. I removed all of my retention system other than one for the top slot since it has a DVD drive in it. The rest of my bays are radiators and that reservoir, lol.
The T3 only uses the front set of mounting holes. Obviously if it was full depth like a drive and then you mounted the pump...all kinds of issues with long cards etc. Besides, being shorter lets you hide the pump. I have seen images somewhere of a T3 with the slide in type rails mounted to it and from the posters comments it seemed to work.
Not sure which forum and thread it was posted in though.
I am able to use the T3 in my P180 with the slide rails. I didn't tighten the screws in enough so it was initially hard to remove, but after I tightened the screws it was easy.
Well here is a little update for anyone that was concerned about the "D4 Stamp" on the bottom of the Basic D5.
Hello,
Thank you for sending me those pictures.
“D4 Basic” is a stamp from our manufacturing plant in Hungary. It is the European designation. The unit(s) that you have is definitely a D5T-Basic. That is our designation for this unit.
I hope this helps but let me know if you or your customer still has questions.

Hope this helps clear up any issues or concerns anyone was having.
This one here appears to be a d4 blue paint and all not just a stamp on it? Is this the pump that comes with the T3 or is this a d4 you purchased seperately Karbon?
Redoing my build tonight so not going to get a T3 into it this go around but if I do order eventually I will need a pump as well so would be nice to know.
No need for alarm, I bought the pump separately when Petra had an offer on his remaining D4s.
Also, with regards to the discussion happening above, you can see that I mounted mine on slide rails... works due to there being 2 drive bays' worth of mounts (and therefore 2 sets of rails), so as long as you push the rails all the way back, you know the reservoir is lined up properly.
Boxgods,
another thought, will these ghost barbs work properly on the T3?

Should. They do not have a fat base and the o-ring looks rather large so it should seal properly.
Yea, they are Ghost fittings, so would think that would be an option for those that still want to mount 7/16 on it.

Well I just slapped mine in, waiting for my 4890 blocks to arrive so I can run this 2nd loop. Its really sweet for draining and filling since I had to do it 7 times while leak checking. I just wound up removing the bitspower 45 rotary's from the system entirely I am extremely disappointed in them, leaking at the swivel. I was having an issue with mounting this res inside of the HAF case, so I dremeled out the tabs between the bays. Then the inside of my res sprung a leak from the high side to the low side, seems that something has clogged up that hole and now its no longer spraying into itself. Now if I could just get these video cards up to 1GHz I'd be all set!
Oh, I was also very impressed with those ghost fittings, working great for me!
They are dimensionally identical to the polycarbonate Ghost fittings. It is going to get a little confusing here in a bit because there will be the Poly Ghost Compressions, the Metal Ghost Barbs, and Metal Ghost Compressions. All will have the exact same under pinnings and the metal and poly compression will be identical.

The whole line of fittings will work with ALL the upcoming pumps, rads, blocks etc.
Sweet, thanks BoxGods. I just ordered mine last night. I decided to just go back to 1/2" tubing so i could try out those nifty compression fittings
Can't wait to get it mounted, The only thing that is holding me up now is waiting on CrazyPC to get stock of Swiftech MCR320-QPs so I can upgrade my rad seeing I will have the case all torn apart again :yepp:
CrazyPC is local for me, no shipping fees. That is the main reason I am trying to wait. Well just called, 2 weeks before they come in, guess i going to have to get on PPC then.
edit: and then again, maybe i will wait. Man those are overpriced on PPC. 15 dollars more and another 11 for shipping, ouch. :(
Problem with buying local is that you have to pay tax, so it really is a wash. Also, depending on the part you order, tax could be MORE expensive.
For an in-stock 320-QP, you could go to NewEgg. They have it for $3 more than Jabtech, but you'd be able to get it sooner.
Yea, I saw the Egg does have them for a fair price.
+1
They some good guys there. They don't have alot of WC'ing stuff, but I try to get whatever I can there to support them. I have been trying to get them to get more stuff in stock and seeing they just got a slightly bigger warehouse, I think they are going to try to get more stuff.
