how come some people running 920 @ 19 multiplier ?
so far I am able to get 20 X 200 @ 1.350v stable :)
It seems that I've overcome all obstacles that I had with my Patriot memory. Since I put my Corsair Dominator DDR3 2133 memory in I haven't encountered any problems. In fact I just started Memtest86+ v2.11 with these BIOS settings:
DRAM Timing: All AUTO
BCLK: 200
Mem Multi: 10x
DRAM Volt: 1.725v
VTT: 1.48v
Memtest86+ Shows the memory at DDR3-1998 11-11-11-28. After I verify this is stable I'll see if this can't be tightened up. Thanks.:)
as i suspected, ram plays a big role for cpu stability for i7 :D
I think i've maxed out my first i7 920 3836A756 with 4769mhz air validation, 4652mhz 32M air, 228-230blck max air. Just swapped in my 2nd i7 920 which is an identical twin batch 3836A756 as well. Hoping 2nd one is better than first! :D

anyone have to chance to test between this board and EVGA X58?
just inserted 3 gtx 285 watercooled
by aquacomputer aquagrafx 285... :yepp:
btw: is 3-way sli possible using xp? :hm:
what distance should be between vcore(vdimm) and vtt ?
only person i know if testing both (not at same time) is 3oh6/Jody IIRC
nice.. but >2 cards = Vista only
safe is 0.0v to 0.50v but what is optimal will depend on memory modules themselves, memory frequency/timings and mem multiplier http://i4memory.com/102537-post3.html (memory tips)
Id034, I owe you a coctail of your choosing. Used your settings from page 12, after primary vista install, first overclock of an i7, and is working like a champ!
My memory is on the 6 multi as It did not like the 8, probably voltage set too low. No worries, will play with that when I have a chance. 32m pi stable at this point so happy.
This is a build for a friends kid, a rocking gaming rig. Thanks again to eva2000 for all the info on i4memory as well.
It is up crunching numbers while I get some rest, see how it likes running 24/7 @ 100% cpu load on all cores with HT for 8, will check on it after some sleep.
Thanks again guys.
congrats linflas :D
Just swapped in my 2nd i7 920 which is an identical twin batch 3836A756 as well. Hoping 2nd one is better than first! :D

Seems this 2nd i7 920 3836A756 has as good a memory controller as 1st cpu. It has better CPU VTT handling as it requires noticeably less CPU VTT than 1st cpu and runs cooler under load too ~3-5C cooler. Although Prime95 isn't as good as 1st cpu. First i7 920 needed 1.232v for Prime95 @3815Mhz 4+ hrs rock stable while this second one only managed 40mins Prime95 @3815Mhz at 1.264v before system rebooted. But so far bclk wise it handles great hitting 201bclk at CPU VTT 1.21 (default) for DFI UT X58-T3EH8 board. Have yet to test for max bclk, but did a quick 32M run and it's probaby as good as 1st cpu. Fingers crossed it has a better max bclk than 228-230blck (1st cpu) :D

Nice, but seriously, set it to CAS 9-9-9-24 to start with. Anything above CAS9 makes no sense at all, run 2000 CAS 8/9 or stick to 1600 CAS7...
@The Mighty: Nice, I take it the Aquacomputer GTX 285 blocks are already out then ;)
Excellent choice on the MIPS set too, I love silver nickle :up:
Looks like I'm gonna have to use the Aquacomputer blocks as well, since they are the only ones flat enough to allow for addon cards to be placed directly underneath each GFX card.. even tho I'd really prefer to use Watercool blocks + their incredibly insane-looking 3-way-sli connector :(
Found the time to try out the official Win 7 beta on the UT, nice clean install without hassle.

great minds must think alike, configuring my win 7 dual boot on DFI UT X58 right this moment - a must to test my first proper triple channel DDR3 kit = 6GB Corsair TR3X6G2000C7GTF Dominator GT triple channel DDR3 memory rated at DDR3-2000Mhz 7-8-7-20 1.65v. They're literally hot out of the oven so to speak - week 05, 2009 from label which is last week!

Well be testing the Corsair Dominator GTs with i7 920 and my rock solid DFI UT X58-T3EH8 motherboard so keep an eye out for the results :D
Hi gals and guys
Be gentle to this newbie here.
Some results for Core i7 920 (#3837B017) and DFI LP UT X58-T3EH8, 24/7 on air.
@3.8GHZ HT:on 1.23v(Load) 8 hour primestable
http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/9...rimeuf9.th.jpg
Work still in progress for @4GHZ.And I have discovered something interesting, 19x211 requires less Vcore than 200X200 to be primestable
@4GHZ (20x200) HT:off, needs 1.31v(Load) to be primestable
http://img120.imageshack.us/img120/597/4ghz8ah4.th.jpg
@4GHZ(19x211) HT:off, needs only 1.28v(Load) to be primestable :)

@4GHZ is not final. I'm still working on it.
:welcome: Sam.
Looking good so far :up:
@eva2000, if you are a S3 user.
S3 sleep and resume works prefectly but remember to disable the WOL functions under the Device Manager else you get a insomiac PC bouncing wide awake back from S3 sleep all the time.

thanks for the tip

Awesome ram. Nice to see 2000mhz cl7 1T sticks with less than 1,5v vtt :up:
I could reallyuse some help here...
I can't install quad SLi on this motherboard. I've installed OS with one GFX card and then added the other, but the nvidia driver didn't see it. I saw it caused a problem on one of the PCI-E ports, not enough ressources (kode 12)
Then I C-mos and tryed to install OS with quad installed, but then OS could'nt find my raid 0 - untill i removed one of the GFX.
Someone have an ideer on what to do?
Is there a PCI-E bios setting that controls the ports, maybe..?
Thanks!
did you try without the sound card?
Hi guys. Has anyone tried fitting Swiftech's NB block MCW30 on here:
