CPU-VDDA controls the amount of current to the CPU Voltage regulator circuitry.... so when over-volting the CPU, it pushes the CPU VRM's harder, so giving them a little more juice can help them to do their job as well.... just the same as we give the CPU more Vcore when we up the Mhz's on it... the VRM's need a bit more to help them when they are asked to do more as well...
At least this is my understanding of it.... would love to know a bit more about it though if anyone knows...!!!
