Zaim NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooo SilenX .... i cry *cries*
checksum welcome.
although i like your case, imo it would be better if u had only one color, not red+blue+green...
but thats only mine opinion
Thanks, I will give it a try :)
Ch3ck5um
Perfect. That's exactly what I was going for. But now that I see what the reult is, I'm not gonna put in different colors. I'm just gonna go with blue.
Good old P180B, just cleaned it out and rerouted some wires. Picking up a TJ07 and some Swiftech watercooling parts within the coming weeks.

And yes, I am running my Ultra-120 passive - on a quad core.
Much better!
Thats what im talking about checksum :) That looks awesome.
Welcome f250bax,
This is one of the best jobs i've seen on cable management in the Armor. GJ
Thats a hell of a job on the cable management.
Which app are you running on the g15 in that pic?
Usually idling around 40-42. At 45 right now (Had a render going overnight). Heavy load (4 cores @ 100%) gets it up to mid-50's.
It's just that I'm too lazy to stick the fan brackets back on :p: (Really annoying with the evga northbridge heatsink in the way)
Thx:up: You might also want to try PCwizard2007. The latest version has G15 LCD support. It shows stuff like cpu temp, cpu load, cpu speed and cpu voltage. Plus, you can have some more info in one of the corners of your PC screen. Like GFX temp and cpu core temps. I love it.

very messy  but in a cool way :D
very nice mod
Quite xtreme
a mess is one thing, i'm actually more intrigued as to what he has in there that requires *all* those cables etc - it seriously doesnt look like it has that much hardware to warrant all those cables! i mean, come on!
DAE_JA_VOO Did you get that idea from ORAC3 over at bit-tech?
Wow dae ja voo. That looks amazing. But what the hell are those metal cables for? Those are insane :D
@Origin_Unknown: yes these metal cables are these so called shower tubes as u said. they look insane, i also got these thingies in my comp. just rewired the psu and it looks damn awesome.
@DAE_JA_VOO: When i saw this i thougt this was ORAC3 with another name and in blue, but it looks awesome, love this style
Hahaha, it's ingenious and it looks awesome.
@DAE_JA_VOO: Orac3 much?
couldn't find my camera so i used the camcorder.
Attachment 61722
just put in a fan. the computer didn't suffer from heat problems, but the LEDs are more colorful. it was actually quite pointless to do this, because now i can actually hear my computer. i had the fan lying around. this computer is tentative, i got it for $500 last year.
ps. GUESS THE SPECS!

I have a different mobo, but it is the same size. I saw another Armor case just like that in cable management quality. I would love to do it, but I have no idea where to cut without screwing things up. I want to be able to use the case again in another build in the future. I know you couldn't have cut holes in the places where the ATX standoffs would be. Is there a work log or something that I could see to help me get it that clean. Mine is nice and tidy, though. I used some adhesive vinyl zip tie holders, and zip tied everything to the back. I walso routed the cables along the sides as much as I could. I put the fan power cables behind the motherboard tray. Could we see a pic of the other side with the panel off?
Don't have a work log, but heres some pics to show you some close ups and a pic behind the tray. I will have to modify my cabling when I upgrade later, but not worrying about that until then.

Hope these help you. :D
Thanks for your comments guys :D
My temps aren't too bad. CPU temp is rarely over 42, the two video cards seldom go over 40 degrees. Only high temp i have is the chipset, which is generally around 45. Hard drive temps seldom exceed 30. It's all watercooled, except for the chipset :D
Believe it or not, but every single cable serves a purpose. They all power something somewhere ;)
Yep, ORAC was my inspiration ;)
The metal ones (shower hose) are all the main power, like HDDs, video cards, mobo, etc etc etc ;)
If you guys want more info about my mod, have a look HERE. It's called Epiphany. You'll see the link there ;)
Nice website:up: But is there anything in the case besides cables?:p: I've looked at it from all angles but I couldn't see anything.
EDIT: Never mind. I just saw the pics on your website. Now I know why I didn't see anything. I love the LED optical guide. I might just try that sometime.
DAE_JA_VOO, very wicked looking rig. Awesome.
Extreme Cooling!

I feel a mod coming on !

That's actually pretty damn cool Ch3ck5um. I 'm not a big fan of the Antec 900, but that mod makes it look serious. I wish there were more slot drive dvd-rw drives on the market, my Plextor 5.25" slot drive was an arm and a friggin leg >=|.
standard 3 pin fan header.
lowfat, any problems with metal contact between the ocz cooler and gfx card; same problem over here, didn't do much. doubt it affects anything, right?
The DVD drive was really cheap at £37 which I think is really cheap :)

definitely unique mate =) you are the first ever to mod a 900 like that.
WOW LowFat!
that is one clean looking system! you cable management is awesome!
and let me say, gooday neighbor! im in manitoba......:welcome:
ok @ Lowfat i don't notice any hdd's.......
i see a yello cable, but not sure if it is the hdd cable, sata
that is one of the cleanest looking dang systems i have ever seen. must have taken ages. mine is pretty clean, but nothing like that. dang.
looks like cable sleeving to me
Here s mine. Hoses made with extra length, will replace the hardware after summer. Probably get me a e6850:). With the apoogee gtx, 8800gtx with stealth and so on..
Not too bad, but without having much of an opportunity to see inside there it looks like you could do a better job of cable routing. Drill some holes in the MB plate and rout the PSU cables behind, between it and the back of the case.
I will take a look, I think that the other case face is riveted in place and can't be removed. I will take a look.
-J
Well I have finally gone and got a case.
Amazingly quiet. The loudest part is the hard drive. :)
Watercooling will go in next week once I get some more stuff. I will have to count my birthday monies and see what can be done about that Ultra.

No more cables :D
Brilliant cable mangement cole2109, truly brilliant, must have taken you hours and hours.
Need a new screen though, the keyboard looks good though.
cable management is more than just neatness.... it's an art form. and you my friend, are an artist.
9.0/10 !
maybe we should start up a post your cable management thread? =)
you should have made a hole for your motherboard power if possible
We had one over at Whirlpool.

And the winning entries (nothing compared to some here at XS)

I came 6th with this http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/3...nternalpl7.jpg
But there were some really good entries that got missed.

Cable management is matter of part perfectionist, part neat freak, and a matter of how well you can think ahead to see where things get routed when in place.
thats a nice case there marco... always wondered how everything will fit there =p
