Good work, so what subtimings are you running for 600 MHz HCI Memtest stable @ 2.00v? I am running some SPI32M benches while I cook dinner, I'll post up my everest later on but I also get 103xx MB/s read.

Trying to tight timings.
500x9 setup. Full stable. Can be used for 24/7. Hate my chip has max multiplyer 9 :(

I wouldnt call 17 mins of prime stable but looks like you got a decent chip there, nice results
Ok guys, lets see some Quad+8gb 500fsb stable settings...... Preferably 45nm quad.....
Finally got the Rampage build done, my 2 MIIF boards will be sold off this week along with a couple of E8400 chips..
Going to run the Rampage and finally jump on the i7 wagon....shopping for a board and blocks now.
Have all the MIIF settings from a stock run to 500FSB, will post up some head to head runs of the 2 boards for anyone who is interested later this week.....
How ya likin the Rampage Grn??? I get better mem bandwidth with my MIIF......
I'm running 467FSB atm currently they score almost identicle, now the rampage is untweaked and the MII was and to keep it fair I'm running PL8 on the rampage so once I drop it to PL7 the rampage will surpass the MIIF in bandwidth

Just an update on the MIIF using my 467 setting I could not go 1FSB higher without errors, dial'd in the exact same voltages and was able to run 471FSB stable, a modest gain yes but 50MHz on the same settings is still 50MHz more :D , going to test more later in the week when I have proper time

Good work! I've also found that using strong negative values on NB GTL helped me to reduce VNB. After setting it to -60 I was able to use 1.36 V instead of 1.39 at 515 FSB and I think I can lower it more (need more time for testing as I wasted time on RAM).
Very nice indeed.
On my side I found why I was not stable at 500 FSB. These last days were too hot and running my memories over 1150 leaded me to unstability as they were generating more heat than usual. If I want to run safe at that FSB I must either use a better cooling or find me some other RAMs that can go higher. Using the 1:1 divider is forcing me to switch to PL10. What is a shame is that when I bought my MIIF I was using OCZ Flex 9600 memories with no problem on my P5K Premium and they were laughing at 1200 5.5.5.15. Due to f... incompatibility with the MIIF I had to buy me my actual CellShock sticks. Since that time, no decent bios was able to make me boot with the OCZ at 1200.
guys, news about the SLI bios?
Grnfinger - your Rampage looks really good with that one piece block & mosfet blocks on it. I will have to get you to do some SPI32M comparisons with the M2F.
Well I managed to reduce my vNB a little :D Seems stable so far, 1100+ % dual HCI memtest with about as much ram as possible allocated is pretty solid in my experience. I'll have to do some more testing though before I call it anything like stable.
4.25GHz (500 x 8.5) / DDR2-1200 @ 1.97v / PL8 @ 1.20 vNB / 1100% memtest

I'd love to see this as well. I just don't think it's possible. I haven't seen 500FSB w/ a 45nm quad that passed enough tests that I would call it 24/7 stable.
There is a wall around 475-485FSB. You have to tweak so many voltages and play w/ so many interdependent settings to go only a few MHz that it's hardly worth it. And even when you think it's stable if you re-run a test w/ the same BIOS settings from the previous day that had passed 12hrs+ you can all of the sudden get failures very quickly. PITA!
I gave up after a month of testing and settled on 471x8.5 (4GHz). Voltages all around are nice and low which is great for this heat.
If you want 4GHz 24/7 stable on this board you really need at least a Q9550. If you want a little more then get a Q9650.
Some more tests using my RAM at 4.4.4.12 PL9 Moderate. I will see if I can go to Strong/Stronger tomorrow and maybe switch back to 5.5.5.15 if my sticks are not getting too hot.

Very nice. BTW, I am sure, you have the latest BIOS, don`t you?
I just have updated my old 1307 to 2104. Started liking it.
I actually use 1901. I have given up trying new BIOS's for this board. I have 1307 installed on BIOS chip #2 and there is no real difference for me between 1307 or 1901. Glad new one's working for you.
CryptiK, mate.
What do Intel Virtualization Tech & CPU TM Function do?
Virtualization Tech, is to let you run a hardware based Virtual PC.
Example, the new XP-Mode that's going to be in Windows 7 (for now a seperate beta download).
Your CPU needs to support this to even run XP-Mode.
Some low end Intel's do not as Intel disabled it but most new AMD's do.
TM I think is a thermal limit that will throttle or shut donn the PC by the Mobo not just relying on the CPU's built in protection (I'm not 100% on it TBH).
Hi, just been trawling through this thread after taking some careful time to find something good to replace my P5B, and was in 2 minds about going for one of these.
But.... Thanks to the wealth of information found right here, and the impressive potential of this board, I ordered it along with another metre of tygon tubing! :)
My P5B-Deluxe (with a few mods), has reached it's limit now I've got my hands on a G0 Quad, and although 3.7GHz 24/7 was pretty damn good for a board of this age, I'm intent on breaking this barrier with the MF2, particularly sinc I hear it's pretty good at getting the most out of low voltages :)
Here's an old bench at 3.6GHz with 1.416v (vdroop modded, and almost exactly as a DMM reading reports), but has cruised at 3.7 on 1.46 for months since I went H20 :)
http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z...00at361GHz.jpg
To go with the tubing (after I've removed the nice looking, but seemingly not very effective heatsink assembly), I'll be bolting down an MCW30 for the NB, along with 2 Enzotech MST-81's for the mosfets which were on my P5B. I'll probably hunt down some low-profile HS for the SB.
Hopefully my new bits will arrive tomorrow, and I'll probably go offline for a day or so whilst I pay close attention to my (and your) research, and tinker until I (hopefully) pass my old limit. Wish me luck!
Hi guys!
Anone was trying to bench on win 7?? I bought nvidia 295 graphic and 2x2gb ram's. I have installed win 7 64bits and my score at qx9650@4400mhz in 3dmark 2006 is 23430 wich is LOW because in XP 32bits i have 25430 pts. Meaby there is some option in bios that slows down CPU in 64 bits or make it faster when enable? In CPU options in bios i have all options disable (like Virtualization Tech or TM etc.) All my drivers are good and dedicated to win 7 64. One more. My friend have also win 7 64bit and GTX 295 and at the same CPU speed he can get 26230 pts in 2k6 3dmark.
Anyone have any idea whats wrong?

Thank you!
