And can you let us know Max CPU voltage availeable in bios too please!
I´m now with it. And all I have to say is that the best BIOS so far is 0107. 0401 and previous when you set AUTO vcore in BIOS it puts random vCore looking at the FSB. For me, 370 is 1.39v. And of course with a vCore different of the processors VID, when you enable c1E the voltage doesn´t drop. With 0107 you put AUTO, and in my case is 1.25v load, 1.14v idle and I want that for 24/7. The RAM is f*cking unstable now with the same settings, and latency has increased a little.
So, guys, for now I´m forced to use 0107. Since I have done the vDroop mod, it works like a charm :)
I don´t know whats wrong with the other BIOS, 0107 has no problems running my ram at 1113Mhz but with the others is impossible. Maybe you should try it :yepp:
 After a full nite of testing (all released BIOS versions) for me best is 0303. It's the only one I can boot up to 9x475 an bech up to 9x473.
All other versions refuse to boot above 9x470.
BTW, 4:5 divider is also broken >400 FSB on 0107 BIOS.
Interesting find is that on 0107 if all subtimings set to AUTO in BIOS memset shows performance level 6 - on all later releases it is 7. I set in BIOS only the main timings 4-4-4-3 and refresh to 25 and static contol to enabled - all other mem settings are left to auto (of course except the Vmem:p: ).
:welcome:
Well I thought I was in luck and was going to get my memory working right (1066) with bios 0401. At least with this bios I was able to get in to windows (all other bios version I could not even get into windows) but then as soon as I do some testing it crashes :-(
Will say this though I can now run my momory at bit faster with this new bios. I just hope they fix the problem with the official release of the next bios.
Rock stable 2x2GB G.Skill and E6600 settings for daily usage:
2.14v vMEM in BIOS, 1.29v vNB, the other voltages all set to minimum. Read Static Control enabled. BIOS 0107. CPU 370x9=3330Mhz 1.14v idle 1.224v load, with vDroop mod done.

 Hm, really bad thougts coming to my mind.........., seems this board & my CELLSHOCKs are hungry for a QX9650........
same here pal.... cant wait.....
Another one here. BTW I have done some enhancements to my RAM timmings without touching any voltages and rock stable too.
All timmings directly from BIOS.

Well there getting there it would seem with the new bios, just keeping my fingers crossed and will see what happens.
The memory does work but not at full speed that is the problem. And I know if they sort out the problem then I will be good to go with this memory :-)
Since in bios of p5e we have a option to choose ur memory speed like 667,800,1066, and i have cruciall ballistx 6400 at 800mhz, if i set it to 1066 and adjust the voltage to 2.2 and use timings 5,5,5,12 would tat harm the ram?i dont want to overclock the cpu, dono if tat would be possible witout overclocking it?
Sorry guys for the newb I am :yepp:
All I want is a stable 3.00Ghz.
So far I've only put my Bus Speed at 333 and left the rest at AUTO
(I can hear you guys laugh hehe).
Have put my Mem at 1066, 5-5-5-15 2T and also the rest at AUTO
since I have no clue what to change and how.

Can some help set/explain what I can do to make it stable?
See my Sig for my Rig, thanks guys :p:
p.s. Bios 1402 (no problems so far), do I need to overclock my
memory also or leave it as it is?
I'm currently testing high Vcore stability on the board just to rule that out... (all my orthos attempts fail around 1hr..ghey)
So this is probably chip suicide but hey QX9650 *cough*

Anyone want to try 1.8v please? I'm running out of temps headroom or I would:yepp:
Ok got my P5E :) But because the socket area is packed with all the copper I can't install my Zalman coolers. Tryed both the 7000B Cu and 9500LED :( Using stock intel cooler now :(

PS 1.35v in Bios is 1.312 in CPUz (with little bit of fluctuating), is this correct or
does it need to be 1.35v in CPUz?
Weird, got the Zalman CNPS9700 LED installed with no problems at all?
7000 series I can understand perhaps of the upward fan, but 9000 series
with horizontal fans would defenitly fit.
My only problem was that the 4x120 fan side-door of my CM Stacker 832,
I had to forced-close it. Because it hits the CPU Cooler a bit.

U think that it's better use 2x2gb or 4x1gb of memo ? which of this:
this corsairs have the same layout of dominators, but don't have micron D9 :
or this using 4x1gb ?Code:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145176
