Little oddity thats cropping up on my rig with UTT.
running dividers, if i set HTT to 300 and mem to 100setting Boot ok, 300HTT mem 133/166 fails. Ram is good for 265 1:1 so don't know what going on there.
Problem is issolated to UTT as BH6 and TCCD is ok.
Do later (0453) chips usually clock better than early (0448)? I'd think so.
i would prefer a 5day 'prison' in my room with some new hardware... lets say UTT+DFI nf4+maximizer (hipros maximizer is AWSOME ... my results are remarkable!)Quote:

anybody mind giving me some opinions? i am suppose to buy a pair of 2 x 256 BH5's...which is guaranteed to run at 255 Mhz with Booster...its d Mushkin Black Level 2 PC3500...but now seems like TwinMOS is performaing darn well...but there is no guarantee...as it depends on ur luck i spose...kinda torn in between BH5 or TwinMOS..i am using IC7 btw...

ermm...can sum1 post some results using IC7? without booster or VTT mod or volt mods... coz i think TwinMOS wont really work so well with my IC7...but havent sen anybody posting any results with dis board...

I'm at work now so and will be at least for several more hours then an hour travel time so it will be close to 9 or 10 tonight before these get tried out. For the time being I'm limited to 3.3v (on an Epox 4PDA2+ with a 2.4c), but hopefully that will be good enough for 240-250, maybe more based on what tictac's friend and others are getting.
Last night I was able to hit 245 (2-2-2-5) in SC on a 512MB OCZ PC2700 Value Series stick that I got through Diablo23rd. These have the M.tec 60Ds with the "-50" after the date code. I was not able to boot in DC with those timings, even at just 200 fsb. I am thinking that the second stick is not as good, although I have hit 210 at 3.1v so far with it. That is all I've had a chance to test, not the max.
I think that these TMSP will do better, or at least I'm hoping they will.

The P4C800-E is a little more picky with memory, but I can always give it a try.

Just got a PM from my friend, Diablo23RD, that works at the Fry's out in the midwest and he told me that they have just received a shipment of Geil's value ram with these Winbond UTT chips and BP PCBs. They retail in the mid $80s pe 512 stick so they look to possibly be an alternative if the TwinMOS are not available where you live.
I'll try to get more info on these modules, maybe even a set. Not that I need it. Like many of you guys, I have more money in ram than I care to mention.
at 2.8v Im able to run 220fsb @3338 timings. Not terrible terrible, but not that great either on my IC7. Still waiting for AI7
