My cpu reach 60 degrees too passing ORTOS test, watercooled with danger den TDX. And the PMW IC chip at 70ēC :explode2:. my cpu is at 325*8 at 1.45v. But the stress prime ORTOS failed at 4 hours.
I think its for high temp.
sorry for my english...

where does the TEC draw it's power from, the computer's power supply? i have an old swiftech heatsink with a peltier (TEC) under it, but the power it drew, OMFG!Quote:

Go for it. It's doing the job for me quite well and is very easy to install. Just make sure that you have very good case cooling because it's drawing air past it's radiator from inside the case.Quote:

That water cooling setup should do better than air for you but it will not come close to the FreeZone for only 42 more bones.

Looked at a c2d system and the performance would probably be better but the upgrade would have cost nine bones. Decided to go dual core opty as I wanted one forever. Last year I got a single core 146 in hopes of getting 3ghz but only got 2.6 ghz@1.475 which really isn't bad.
ordered on 1/23/2007 4:37:35 PM from Newegg and chose Fedex next day and the 3 buck rush order feature. Shipped yesterday from the TN warehouse.
Last night I started finding out about the lcb9e's and was kind of worried since I never get a good stepping. Although I don't think they suck as bad as some make them out. I resigned my self to get the most out of it regardless.
ya, you figure the freezone will out perform the swiftech water setup. i wouldnt have thought so, but Classic Satch does have some nice temps! so i dunno ;)Quote:
