No issues with Vista x64 Ultimate. Didn't even have to re-activate which was nice.
does the rampage bios update solve the DET DRAM issue?
I'm having slight problems with my Q6600 G0.
I can't seem to get it stable'ish uness I'm pushing 1.5v core. Is there any other values I could adjust to lower the vcore requirements?
I tried running a marathon Prime95, it failed after about 14 hours. Under load the Core MAX temp is 69/69/66/66, on average the temps are 64/64/61/61. I think I have a pretty good seating, only 3c variance between the two cores.
Compared to my old setup with 3.0GHz @ 1.4v my temps were 55/55/51/51 looks like things got a lot worse :(
I'm using 0907 on Windows Vista 64.

DET DRAM Issues most occure when tight spd has been programmed or from wrong user overclocking issues.
If your system boots just fine with default settings then you overclocking settings has to do with DET DRAM
Ah, sorry, I misunderstood what you meant then... In my case (using 907 BIOS I think) it was the BIOS, CPUz & anything else you care to mention that couldnt see cores 0 & 1.
I'm at a loss with your problem there bud.
Tried my ballistix in the white slots today, then seems to work better there. Got some hangs today in the blue slots. Will try to push memorys higher later
I didn't read all 33 pages, but did flashing the Maximus to the Rampage allow for a higher FSB overclock? If so, what are people now maxing out at?
Now find me a way to turn my P5e3 dLX into p5e3 premium
just loaded rampage bios :D will post later how good or bad it is
I'm gonna RAMPAGE this weekend !!!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!!!
just so everyone knows; it look like ASUS has password locked their FTP...
ftp://ftp.asus.com.tw/pub/ASUS/mb/so...aximus_Formula
whats the deal ?
We have this though.. ;)
http://support.asus.com/download/dow...imus%20Formula
1004 beta is out also at site
http://support.asus.com/download/dow...%20Formula
If it's available on their site, wouldn't that mean it's not a "beta" anymore? At least according to them.
EDIT: Oops, I see they even list it as a beta on their site. Sorry :D
does the 1004 bios allow for tRFC up to 52? if so, im thinking going this route first before the rampage mod. Anyone have results with the 1004 bios while using 8GB of ram?
