I have exactly your CPU (just arrived from UK): CCBBE 0616XPMW.Quote:

Edit: I have 2GB of G.Skill HV series PC4000 RAM. They use Infineon CE-5's.
 I thought it was the other way around........drop the voltage and see how high it clocks??? :p:Quote:

I just popped it in last night, so give me a break, Ill get her crankin later on tonight or tomorrow. ;)
I will hopefully be getting one of the Newegg ones next week, has anyone tried for 3.0 on a DFI NF3 Ultra D Yet? I am hoping that she will scream just like the NF4's do but I was just trying to get some feed back.
Hmmmmm isnt the NF3 Ultra-D socket 754??? :confused:Quote:

it's for a cruncher, anyway.
Does anyone have an idea how CCBWE 0633XPMW performs?
Seems that most Dutch resellers are now selling this latest batch from AMD

As was posted, the NF3 is the Ultra D with AGP vice PCI. As far as I have seen there are no issues with running the opterons with them but I have not seen any data on how well they are clocking. I do know that my Venice clocked the same as others with the NF4 Ultra D so I am anticipating that the Opty should do the same. In any case I will let everyone know how my results are. The first thing I need to do is find someone that is willing to sell their 0610DPMW to me.Quote:

I got me a new 165 from dustinhome.se in Sweden. Its a CCBBE 0615MPMW, I got a bit scared when I read that it was supposed to be one of the worst steppings :(, but now its dual prime'ing @ 2,5 ghZ with 1,35 volts, so far so good :D
EDIT: 2,57 ghZ @ 1,39 volts, don't know if its my mobo limiting me, or if its the cpu :(
@david901101: Crank up the voltage, maybe 1,45?

Mine is running stable with 2.9 @ 1,45v, 0615 EMPW. Its getting so damn hot, what the hell - Core 0 has 60, Core 1 even 66 Degrees. And that with water and open case! I've already remounted the waterblock several times, no success.
I think I'm gonna need 1.55 for 3,0 - is that too high?
1.6v is o.k. with water if you keep your temps in check.
whats your watercooling kit?Quote:

Also anyone have any issues getting past 300mhz fsb on DFI NF4 Ultra? Seems if I budge it to 305 it has a fit...
I pushed my Opteron 175 just a little bit more. I don't want to push it any further without water cooling or better. Core temps getting too high for my liking. But it is prime stable for 10+ hours using normal indoor air cooling (70F/21C room temps.) So I'm happy. Now I can definitely wait for K8L, AM3 or whatever else is coming down the pike. Note that I have not removed the IHS and the case was closed for the entire dual prime duration ... meaning it was set up for everyday use.

nicely done, wish I had at least one more multi at my disposal :-/
Thanks ... I take no real credit, though. I just got really lucky with the stepping and the chip. I love this chip!! Yeah the 11x multi sure does help me since my RAM is pretty slow.
Which dissy do you have? I think 48 it's safe. I do 45° (dual prime) at 300x9 1.392V with XP-120 and 120mm @ 1400 rpm.Quote:
