** Official ** Gigabyte UD3 P45 Series -- EP45-UD3 / EP45-UD3R / EP45-UD3P

Well, I have just recieved my UD3P, the board looks nice, but like always Gigabyte thought that most of users are color-blind.
In comparison to my previous motherboard (ga-x48-ds4) this one have almost twice the options I had before. And that is good from a side and bad (just for now) from other side, because I dont know what does some of those options. And good because I can touch a little bit more.

I attach my Bios options, where I just move slightly some numbers.
And also I bring up (in red fonts) the options wich I dont know what they do, so if someone dont bother, could give me a little explanation.

BuGjAE,yea it seems to be a great chip.im trying to do 9x500 but its
just a little too hot.had to up my vcore to 1.34 and might need a little more
to get it to prime for more than an hour.dont know if my cooling can do it

hey loco i just installed this and i dont get it.the cpu temp works fine but the mch never moves from 42%.took the fan off of my NB and still nothing.
under loard with fan/under load without fan still 42%.am i missing something.why doesnt everest or ET6 pick up this sensor that is inside the NB?
also is there a way to change it to english?please help
heres some screenshots.i have an airconditioner vent hose blowing directly down from above
tha cpu and NB.first shot is without it about five minutes after i start my computer.
the second one is about two or three minutes after i put the vent hose on,and you can see how the cpu
temps drop but not the NB.ive got a 4500RPM fan on the cpu and a 4000RPM fan on th NB.

Its been a while since I last checked this thread. I am using bios f4 on my ud3r. Is f9 the best current bios to run with?

Turn off your fan on NB. Run prime, choose "custom" and set field "Min FFT Size" to 1024. Press ok. And wait :)

yep i tried but still no luck.ive even tried moving the setting from 50c to -7c.but no luck

Leave all settings by default.
What you MCH Core voltage?
P45 very cold chipset. I have never seen more than 50 degrees, once installed HR05 on NB.
Try run prime about an hour, as i wrote above.

right now my mch core is at 1.30v.ill keep messing around with it.thanks for your help:)

That programs doesnt want to run for me, keeps giving me an error code 2 on install and I cant read the rest. :shrug:

i think i might try reinstalling it.i cant seem to get it to work.i just tried a blow dryer(hot air) on the NB but still no change in temp readout.
ive been primimg for an hour now,this cpu is a monster!

Try increase MCH Core voltage to 1.5 just for test and run prime/blend again.

radaja, you use Vista or XP?

i use vista.i just installed it,but it stays at 50c now.if i move the setting to say 20c,does that mean once it goes above 20c the temp sensor will move?

From MCHTemp's FAQ:
The sensor is not able to measure the temperature below a certain value (hereafter Tmin). Tmin depends on the specific chip, and typically lies in the range of 40 to 50 ° C, but in rare cases can reach 66 ° C. Tmin can not be determined programmatically, so MCHTemp considers it equal to 50 ° C.

With Vista maybe some problem, one moment please :)
